My husbands favorite hot sauce
My husbands favorite hot sauce! He orders this on repeat. It has a hot flavor but to him he said it’s a perfect hot kick and heat. We use this for so many foods and it works well.

Excellent Heat and Flavor
This is hands down one of the best hot sauces I have tried. I've built up a pretty impressive spice tolerance over the years. Started with jalapeños and now I can eat habaneros like candy. I started experimenting with super hots a few years ago, and most super spicy "hot sauces" and foods are fun for the laughs but usually are coupled with a horrible flavor, or are made with extracts that are just awful. I want to enjoy my hotsauce as well as experience a burn. This truly is the best of both worlds. I'll do my best to compare this to other products so you know where it falls in the spicy line. Things it's spicier than - yellow bird ghost pepper hot sauce, Texas texas ghost pepper salsa, significantly spicier than Lola's Ghost Pepper hot sauce. Comparable to- Tabasco Scorpion Pepper hot sauce. Tabasco scorpion is hotter on the initial bite but not as long burning. Also taste horrible. Daebak Ghost pepper ramen (but tastes way better). Buldak 2x nuclear ramen. Not as hot as - Da Bomb, Last Dab Apollo. Neither of those are enjoyable though either. They taste awful. One chip challenge (which literally made me feel like I would die). All in all this is a great flavor, burn, and probably the best hot sauce I've tried. 10/10.

Very good taste, but not terribly hot
The first time I tried this hot sauce, I got a little bit of the sweats, which was great. But each subsequent time, even though I paint this on my omelets, it's really not that hot. I get some nose blowing, but I don't have to reach for refreshments to simmer down the heat. It has good flavor, but then again Carolina Reaper is the pepper with the best flavor. Considering where this pepper is on the scoville, this should be and could be hotter. I've had hot sauces on my thai rice dishes that have given more kick, and if I'm lathering this on and it's still not kicking my ass, then there's hotter out there. Hate to say it, but the Hot Sauce Lab, which puts out a walmart variety pack at Christmas time, gave me a more flavorful and slightly warmer hot sauce. And that shouldn't happen.

Great tasting hot sauce!
I absolutely love the taste of this sauce, seriously it's a solid 10/10, definitely the best tasting sauce i have tried so far.

Great Sauce. Just Right.
This is a great hot sauce. First, it's not as unforgiving as something hotter like Da Bomb but still packs penty of heat. So, you can apply enough to your food to get both a good heat level and good flavor. If you accidentally put just a little too much you won't ruin your food. Other hotter sauces need less sauce to get to my desired level of heat, which leads to less flavor, and it's easier to over-apply hotter sauces. Second, and very importantly, this sauce pours easily! Other sauces with a similar level of flavor and heat are usually much less easy to pour, and require a good amount of shaking. With this sauce, you can just shake it once or twice and it pours very easily, and the sauce is very homogenous with no chunks in it. To compare to common sauces, I'd say it has a similar consistency to Valentina. Finally, the price was good. I'll definitely buy this sauce again.

Where's the heat?
I have been a hot sauce fan, perhaps even an aficionado, for decades. I grew my own superhot peppers for years and have tried a wide variety of sauces and peppers over the years. I mention this to demonstrate that I have a solid basis for comparison. While this sauce is flavorful, it is just NOT VERY HOT. I am shocked to discover that. I do not know if there is something off with the specific batch I received, but this is not even CLOSE to what I was expecting from a sauce called "Xtreme Regret" that advertises both Trinidad Scorpions and Carolina Reapers. I am not saying this to be a tough guy, nor am I someone so burned out from capsaicin extracts that I’ve lost perspective on what a natural sauce should feel like. But by way of comparison, the bottle I received is MUCH less spicy than Tabanero Dragon's Breath Extreme, Bertie's Trinidad Scorpion Sauce, or even Tabasco Scorpion Sauce—and none of those even contain Reapers! When I first tried the sauce, I dribbled it gingerly over a burrito with some crema and hardly felt any heat at all. I assumed either the sauce had settled or the crema was taming it. (As experienced pepperheads know, dairy moderates heat.) The next time, I shook the bottle vigorously and inadvertently applied quite a bit more than intended. I was afraid I was really going to regret it, but my fears were unfounded. Same result. Frustrated, I shook the bottle again, poured half a teaspoon onto a spoon, and ate it straight. I have tried many truly hot sauces that would have left me questioning my life choices for five to ten minutes after doing that. With Xtreme Regret, I got twenty seconds of mild tingling. Again, the flavor is nice. I am not saying it is a bad sauce. And again, your mileage may vary. It is possible that something went wrong with the specific batch I received. But for a product that leans so heavily into its pedigree of the world's hottest peppers, it is a disappointment.

My Super Bowl Wings Disappeared
10/10 amazing sauce! Great heat and wonderful flavor! I used this sauce for my super bowl wings and everyone was gobbling them up I couldn't make them fast enough to keep the plate from going empty. I made traditional wings (Franks + Butter) and "super hot" (Elijah's + butter). Folks definitely liked the Franks wings, but the Eliajah's wings just disappeared as soon as I put them out. Even for folks who aren't chili-heads, they loved the Eliajah's wings and the butter cut enough heat to make them just "pretty spicy" instead of "overly painful" for the average person. Today, I ate some tamales and used a bit of my left-over Elijah's (straight from the bottle, not cut with butter) and I was reminded of how absolutely delicious this sauce is so I had to write up a review.
