First off, the smell - it may be because I'm Autistic and therefore have sensory issues, but I HATE how it smells. To me it stinks and really overstimulates my senses. I'll still use it but I'm going to have to get some disposable caps from the dollar store because it was really hard for me to leave this on long enough to work. Second, I dislike how there's no instructions for use on the bottle. Most hot oil treatments I've used say things like "warm up in hot water before applying." This I had to go online to figure out if I do that or not. However, I will say after applying it, forcing myself to leave it on for ten minutes (I couldn't bring myself to leave it longer than that) it did wash out nicely so it didn't leave my hair limp and greasy the way some other products do no matter how well I wash my hair afterwards. There was less hair in my comb when I detangled and when I put my hair in curlers I didn't have as many damaged hairs refusing to cooperate. This morning when I took my curlers out and brushed my hair the brush went through my hair better than normally - not catching and ripping out/breaking off a lot of hair. The curls look smother and less fly aways. So I'll continue using it until the bottle is gone. I'm just going to have to force myself to deal with the smell while it's on my hair.
