Mixed Company: Three Early Jamaican Plays (Oberon Modern Playwrights)

I bought Mixed Company for my mum as a birthday present. She's Jamaican and remembers one of the plays from childhood. It's a lovely collection. The plays are a good read anyway, but also open up a world of Jamaican culture and history. There's so much tied up in the plays: history, religion, culture, poetry, wit and humour: a novel way of getting to know Jamaican culture.
