Annabelle Wooden Dollhouse with Elevator, Balcony and 17 Accessories, Gift for Ages 3+

My daughter LOVES this dollhouse! I’m glad I read reviews and was mentally prepared for the time it would take to assemble. Assembly itself was not difficult, just time consuming. The screws to attach the elevator were just difficult to screw in and I had to call the husband for backup. Overall, this dollhouse is so cute! It is taller than my daughter so she has room to grow with it. It is sturdy and well made.

My 5 year old wanted a Barbie house for Christmas but I wanted something sturdier than the standard plastic dream house. I settled on this and am so glad I did. I assembled it on my own in a couple hours on Christmas Eve. The directions weren’t the best but it was fairly simple to figure out. Don’t over tighten the smaller screw because I did on one spot and caused a minor split in a banister. Nothing structural though. The size is perfect for our needs. It’s taller than my average sized 5 year old and her 4 year old sister as well as wide enough for them to play side by side. It feels very sturdy although I would keep liquids away from it so pressed wood doesn’t swell. The only negatives I’ve found is 1) the elevator is initially crazy hard to move. I put some WD 40 in the slides and moved it up and down a few times and it loosened up enough for my daughter to be able to move it although with some struggle. I’m planning to try some wax and see if that helps too. She isn’t bothered by it however so I’m fine with it. 2) The house can be a bit dim and shadowy in the rooms. I am installing a few sets of fairy lights across the back of each of the ceiling levels though to brighten it up a bit. That wouldn’t be necessary but i thought it would be a nice addition. Overall a great purchase. I got it on sale so significantly cheaper than the traditional dream house and way better quality!

This is a great "fashion doll" dollhouse for the price.[...]The dollhouse is over 3 feet tall with vibrant printed backgrounds. The wooden dollhouse furniture, which is included, is VERY well made! The dollhouse is only functional on three sides. The back is a plain white panel which makes it easy to put up against a wall. (No more dollhouses sticking out in the middle of the room in order for the child to access the whole house.) The push/pull elevator takes the cake. What child wouldn't love an elevator? The elevator takes some strength to move though. On the right side of the house, on the third floor is a darling balcony that really makes the house. COMPARED to ALL those "FAMOUS" Fashion Doll Dollhouses out there, you know the ones made in China, this is the best I've EVER come across. It doesn't have all the lights and sounds that they do, It's not featured in all those cute DVD movies, but it is what it is, a good quality product. It will last longer, and in my opinion, your child will like it better then those plastic ones anyways. Please give this house a chance. I HAD NO ISSUES WITH THIS HOUSE, but the following are things you may want to know. The only cons to this Annabelle Dollhouse are as follows: 1.) The assembly took 2 people about 3 hours to finish, mostly due to errors in the directions and poorly labeled parts and hardware. (look more at the pictures on the box then the diagrams in the directions themselves) This is a more difficult project to endeavor, but as long as you have patience and time you'll do fine. *Don't wait till Christmas Eve "Eve" to assemble it like me and my husband did):)* The "wood" is really MDF with printed images on front and back. This type of material is very vulnerable to water damage. Make sure children do not use liquid near house. If a spill should occur be sure to wipe promptly, otherwise the material will bubble up and dry that way. 2.) It is not portable, weighing about 40 pounds,or easy to store(if that's what you're looking for) 3.) None of the background images are functional only for ascetics. THIS REALLY IS A NICE HOUSE! I've looked far and wide for a house for my daughter and have done a lot of research. Those plastic houses/castles/towers... have nothing on this house.

Assembly went Ok. Took 1 person 2.5 hrs. The actual wooden parts are the edges of each floor, the 2 support beams and staircase railing. The rest is MDF board. Assembly is fairly easy, just follow pictures and make sure you have any visable holes where they should be or you will get hung up on the next steps. The wood did split even with predrilled holes on the white porch bannisters, so go easy. Our roof gable arrived broken and looked like something was spilled on it. Thankfully it wasnt an essential piece for building, and customer service was great and is suppose to send a replacement. The only other broken piece was the nightstand but I superglued it back together. All the furniture is wood. The only downside is the elevator is very hard to move up and down for an adult. You have to put a lot of pressure on the house, and it may break the mdf floors. We will leave it stationary. Hopefully my 4 year old will love this barbie house. Its very pretty and looks sturdier than the plastic name brand ones. And its really tall!

My daughter has wanted a Barbie house for a long time, but I could not bring myself to pay the crazy high price for the namebrand Barbie house. I came across this when I was shopping for Christmas and the price was right so I ordered it. I was not expecting much, but I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised when I put it together. There are about 3 million pieces in the box, and the assembly seems a little intimidating at first, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I think it took me 45 minutes to an hour to get it completely assembled. Not only is the house itself well made and far sturdier than I ever would have expected, but it comes with several pieces of large, wooden furniture to use in the house. My daughter absolutely loves it and I am EXTREMELY happy and surprised at how nice it is... especially for the price.

We ordered this dollhouse for our 3 year old daughter because the Kidkraft Savannah dollhouse was out of stock everywhere. We chose Kidkraft because of many other customer reviews that raved about their customer service. We were looking for a Barbie style dollhouse but wanted one that was much better quality than the Barbie brand plastic dollhouse. At the time we ordered this dollhouse, it had no reviews but Amazon has a great return policy so we ordered it. It arrived in perfect condition and the assembly directions could have been better, but it wasn't difficult to assemble.....took less than 2 hours to put together. The dollhouse is very tall and is of great quality. Sure, it's not solid wood everywhere, but this is a child's toy dollhouse and most out there are not solid wood. The colors are pefect for a little girl that adores pinks and purples and this house comes with 17 pieces of solid wood furniture, which is more furniture than the more expensive Savannah dollhouse. The furniture is adorable and the elevator works great too! There are no stickers to put on it and the walls have beautiful, fun pictures painted on them. The dollhouse weighs over 40 lbs and is made of MDF. The floors are made of MDF that's approx half an inch thick, so it's solid for play but obviously it won't hold up against standing on it, or other really rough play. This was a HUGE hit this Christmas morning and it fits all of my daughter's Barbie's perfectly! She absolutely loves it and I would recommend this for anyone wanting a great quality, yet reasonably priced, dollhouse. There are plenty of windows and room for many Barbie's to comfortably play in there. It comes w/wall mount support brackets in case you want to put it on carpet and need to ensure it won't tip over. Once again, it is a great looking dollhouse, wonderful quality and my daughter absolutely adores it!!!

My girls 6 & 3 recieved this dollhouse for Christmas and have played with it everyday since, for hours each day! Unlike many dollhouses out there this one comes ready for play out of the box, complete with furniture, even a rug and blanket! I can't speak much of the assembly process as my mom did that but she said it wasn't too bad and the dirctions were clear. Each room in the house is really cute, the walls look like a real house and make it realistic. The furniture is solid wood and VERY durable and super cute! Our girls love every piece that came with it, it has just enough for each room without making them seem too crowded. Our girls also love he elevator that goes from the first to second floor. Maybe best of all, Barbies fit in this house. Our girls have many pricess barbies and love playing with them in the house. This house is really tall and big too, by far big enough for two children to play with at once. While we have only had it two weeks it does seem very sturdy and durable, especially since it is made of wood. If you are looking at this and comparing it to other dollhouses the bottom line is this, out of the box you are ready for hours of fun with this one. We also looked at the Fisher Price Loving Family one, granted it is almost half the price but it is much smaller and comes with NO FURNITURE so you'd spend another $75 - $125 to but the pricey furniture. This is a best buy in my opinion!

I do not recommend buying this dollhouse. I honestly regret not going with a different brand — maybe a less popular one, with fewer reviews, but better quality. At least I feel I wouldn’t have lost anything. The build quality is just okay, but overall it feels like cheap mass production. The back walls were warped and didn’t fit into the slots properly. My husband and I had to assemble it together, and I was literally holding the panels in place so he could get the screws into the holes. The elevator doesn’t work. It takes the strength of an adult to even try to move it. Some parts already had glue residue on them and were torn off, which makes me question if I actually received a new item. On top of that, the sink piece was missing. I honestly wanted to return it, even with all the heavy packaging and foam, but it was a birthday gift for my daughter. When she overheard our complaints, she begged us to keep it, so we did. Unfortunately, there was no joy in this purchase at all.

This doll house was delivered today and it took me about 1.5 hours to put it together alone. I'm quite good with my hands so if my kids weren't trying to mess with the pieces and left me to it, I would have been able to finish it within an hour for sure. 1 person can definitely fix this with no help. That said, my kids love this doll house. It is a good size coz both my kids (6 & 3) can stand side by side and play together. My 6 year old kept saying "Amazing!!" and "Yay!!!". They played together and separately too. It's a very sturdy doll house and looks great with quite a few pieces of furniture + accessories. My kids have put their barbies, other little dolls and pieces from other sets + Mickey and Minnie mouse in this. I hope this doll house will help keep them busy and save me during these 2 weeks of Easter school holidays. LOL!! Explains why I made that next day delivery :))

Got this for mu daughters 4 year old birthday,she loves it. It was easy to assumble and a great gift.

Es muy bonito a lo que estaba buscando, el material es resistente , me tarde un poco en armarlo pero sin problemas en la guía te dice paso a paso. El único comentario es que el elevador para levantarlo esta muy duro, mi nena no lo puede levantar aún ella sola, pero funciona muy bien!

La casa de muñecas perfecta! Fácil de montar ya que sus instrucciones son precisas y fáciles de entender, aunque tardas un buen rato... Acabados geniales, la recomie do sin duda alguna!

Dies ist das diesjährige Weihnachtsgeschenk für unsere Tochter (4 1/2 Jahre). Mein Mann, sehr handwerklich geschickt, hat gestern knapp 2 Stunden für den Aufbau gebraucht und immer mal wieder geflucht (Schrauben etwas kurz, Papier löst sich an manchen Stellen von der Spanplatte). Naja....Er hat es erstmal zusammengeschraubt. Mal sehen, wie lange es hält und sich beim Spielen bewährt. Die Aufbauanleitung war jedenfalls gut, sagt er. Ich sage, WUNDERSCHÖN sieht es aus das Puppenhaus, genauso wie auf dem Produktbild.Ich bin fest davon überzeugt, dass es unserer Tochter gefällt, denn sie wünscht sich sehnlichst ein Barbiehaus. Das Haus ist sehr groß (88cm x 40cm x 120 cm) und damit auch etwas Höher als unsere Tochter groß ist. Die Möbel sind nicht komplett aus Holz. Der Kronleuchter ist aus Plastik, ebenso die Toilette und die Badewanne teilweise. Die Treppe ist auch aus Kunststoff. Der Fahrstuhl könnte für meinen Geschmack leichter gleiten. Mal sehen wie unsere Tochter damit zurecht kommt, vielleicht wird es duch bespielen besser oder wir müssen da noch irgendwie nachhelfen. Positiv ist mir auch noch aufgefallen, dass die Schrauben z.B. im Dach rosa lackiert sind, so fallen sie gar nicht groß auf. Ich denke an Weihnachten wird unsere Tochter völlig aus dem Häuschen sein und im Kreis tanzen, wenn der Weihnachtsmann das Haus in Ihrem Zimmer abstellt und sie gleich los spielen kann (daher auch der Zusammenbau vom Haus schon gestern).
