For over 150 years, fortune tellers in Europe and Brazil have cherished the Petit Lenormand method for its ability to answer questions on love, family, wealth, career, health and even pets! In this complete and illustrated guide, written by Andy Boroveshengra, who authored the first English courses on the Petit Lenormand, the whole method is explained in easy to understand English. This new edition has been revised and expanded. Topics include the method of distance and direction. With this text, you can learn two practical versions of the famous Grand Tableau, how to describe people and the real meanings of the suits and how they can be utilised in readings. Others spreads include yes and no, fans of five and nine, the pyramid and the 3 x 3. Nothing is left out. Nothing is half explained. Review: Clear, concise, good for beginners, except the pictures are way too tiny - As someone fairly new to Lenormand, I purchased a number of handbooks. This was the first one I bought, based on solid recommendations on a number of sites. The layout is neat and easy to follow, the descriptions are to the point and there are clear examples for reading combinations. This is a good intro book for beginners - I like his style and keep going back to it. My only dislike/major complaint/big disappointment about this book is that the photos of the cards on the page of each card description - and also in the layout examples - are SO TINY that you can't see them! For example, it mentions the bear pictured possibly hunting for food, but all you see in the tiny photo is a black blob, can't even read the number on the card, etc. Not that it is absolutely necessary, but I like visuals and there is plenty of room on each description page to have made that graphic a whole lot larger, so I really don't know what that is about. Aside from that I would recommend this one if you are learning. Review: Lenormand Thirty Six Cards how to book.. - l love this book. I am learning these card and using this book with Catilin Matthews enchanted Lenormand cards because the book that came in her box was informative enough. this book has it ALL. from descriptions of the four suits, hearts, spades, etc to the cards thems selves, clouds, fish, house, etc he teaches you spreads very thoroughly & very detailed.. i find myself flipping back and forth still . but I am learning..

Well-researched Lenormand manual by a master of the art
Andy Boroveshengra is clearly a master of Lenormand. The book is well-researched and full of in-depth examples of card interpretations. He gives plenty of history to understand the origins of the cards and how to use them. His writing style is clear and enjoyable to read. Lenormand 36 Cards is a great instructional manual worth every penny. I recommend it. Minus 1 star for bad layout & typesetting (not the author's fault, but it detracts from the reading experience). Also the information on spreads seems out-of-order. The difficult Grand Tableau comes before easier spreads. I prefer to start easy and build-up to the advanced stuff. I think a good editor should have caught this. I highly recommend the book, but you may wish to read the easier spreads first before you try the Grand Tableau.

An amazing book from an amazing man!
Andy is an amazing resource for the Lenormand system of reading cards. I absolutely adore this book! I've actually purchased 2 copies: 1 as a working copy to write and make notes in, and 1 to keep in my personal library in great condition for future referencing. Thank you, Andy, for sharing this amazing work with the public!!! I've been reading Lenormand for many years, and this book is a valued addition to my personal work as an advisor. Thanks again dear soul !!!

My favorite Lenormand book
I found the book well laid out and easy to follow, being a beginner to Lenormand. Andy Boroveshengra has a great style of writing, it is not overly done with tons of verbiage going over the same concept numerous times, instead he is clear and concise, yet not so short on his descriptions you have little to work with. I love that. I found some of the other books overwhelming and tend to over-complicate what is a simple deck. He goes over themes, spreads, includes examples and a few exercises. He does not go into combinations, thankfully. There are too many opinions of what is "right" and can create too much confusion. This is my go-to book for Lenormand.

Very much enjoyed this book
Very much enjoyed this book. In my opinion not a beginner book. Andy teaches a traditional Lenormand method. No problem there, but I found getting my footing to be a bit difficult having no former background in Lenormand. A very simplistic and to-the-point book. A great book to further your Lenormand education.

This is a book all Lenormand readers should own. ...
This is a book all Lenormand readers should own. It's not overly long, simply because the information is straight to the point. No padding or superficial filler. Both the detail on card meanings and the description of reading methods are very helpful. With a nod to the tradition and history of Lenormand this book gives a fresh perspective and takes it forward.

Andy

Excellent
To the point explanations and descriptions without a bunch of flowery and fluffy unnecessary stories about how each card affected their life, or made up cards, or made up meanings. Stays to true to the original meanings with also modern associations to fit the times. Wish he created his own deck too, it would have been great!

Great content, horrible layout that is completely detrimental to the reading
I have read just a handful on books on Lenormand and this appears to be very concise and dense, without fanciful alterations. As such I'm glad I bought it. However I am also glad it was not a present for someone as the layout is unbelievably bad, with titles ending at the end of a page, subtitles formatted just like the rest of the text, a huge waste of space (the book could comfortably hold in half the number of pages), and the illustrations really lacking. It's really nerve-wracking and I just hope I'll get used to it.
