They swim around the bath and add an extra to bath time and satisfy the fish want.... I would recommend drying and taking of the bathtub to prolong battery life. One of the fins has fallen off one of the 4 so far but overall cute. We put them in a small aquarium. The fish initially worked but only did so for about 2 hours. We changed the batteries and again only got about 2 hours worth of use. The fish are cute and he liked them when they worked but definitely NOT worth the price.
