Yes it can be used on rusted firearms. It is not a penetrating oil; however, it will aid you in freeing up rusted parts of the seized action.

What odor does it have?

Radco Lube does not have a strong chemical odor. The most important thing here is that it works, it has been my Husbands “Go To” lubricant in his Gunshop for years.

Is MIL spec, at an affordable price

This CLP has an NSN, so it is at least MIL Spec. I know that there are better products, but this is the CLP. It works for the military. I do not abuse my personnel firearms like my military weapons. Buying a gallon, should last me a lifetime, even if I share it with my friends.

Great Synthetic CLP. Covers well, doesn't burn or smoke. Better than traditional CLPs like "Breakfree". I may never need to buy CLP again!!

It seems ok, but slightly thinner than others I have tried, may keep fouling down. Buy a set of needle oilers and you're good for awhile.
