Nothing hold tight. you are constantly having to tighten things as you are working. it struggles to stay spinning at full speed and now I get to buy a hole new lathe because the motor has burnt up. if i was using this every day and for hour on end then I could see this happening but I did not use it a lot and not for extended periods of time.
