This is a great cable. I am not sure if it is genuine HP cable. However, it works fine. It costs much less than buying from HP directly. Cannot beat the price!

I got the same item i ordered, but the color was white and i purchased a black one. It works great, the color just doesn't match all our office equipment.

I have an HP Envy 4500 printer, and this cable does not work reliably (let alone reproducibly) in any of my USB ports. I don't know if it is a problem with my printer's USB interface because I have tried reinstalling the driver on my laptop. I don't understand why HP does not ship a cable with a $79 printer in the first place.

I was having trouble with the WiFi connection of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer to my main iMac computer. I tried downloading new drivers and re-installing the printer, but that did not work. Once I installed this USB cable between my iMac and this print, there have been no problems with connections.
