Very interesting read
I'm about halfway through this book and enjoying it very much. It sheds a lot of light on a little known and probably often misunderstood royal. While I am in no way a fan of the Camilla issue, I do agree 100% with his views on architecture. The modern architecture is hideous, and nowhere is it more obvious then in the beautiful city of London where it is juxtaposed against the dignified and beautiful architecture of the past.

the Prince we didn’t know
As Charles III is now King, I look at him with different eyes. As far as Camilla is concerned, she really has landed on her feet. They are both, in my opinion, money grubbing hypocrites. He is living on a different planet, so spoiled. I originally I hated Camilla and softened towards her as I could see she made Charles happy., but having read this book my opinion has changed and I was right in the first place; she is a greedy, conniving vulture and I hope they don’t reign for long.,i

Great read!
Lots of what was said I knew already. Equally lots I did not. Assuming all is true - which of course I don't know! - it was a very interesting book about a fascinating man.

The royals are like everyone else except they have more money to play ...
Well written and very enlightening. The royals are like everyone else except they have more money to play with and probably a little more exocentric.
