Continuation to the best comic ever!!!
The First compendium sets up the work perfectly. This second compendium puts morality and risk in its forefront. Ever character feels important even in their end. Moments of just gruesomely horrifying action sequences to moments where you have to question a characters motives just shine keeping you griped and invested in this near perfect comic. The art is amazing Corey Walker is awesome at capturing a fight scene in full brutal detail. The writing is perpetually throwing curveballs at you every issue making it a must read series if you enjoy superheroes.

Modern classic pt.2
I have now purchased all of the compendiums just to say I own them. Invincible is a comic that I wish I had looked into and purchased when new issues were still hitting shelves. As a collector and lover of comics it pains me to think about it. Luckily, these compendiums exist, which are far and away the best "value," in terms of money spent on the actual comic, that you can find. Any other way of reading Invincible is more expensive for getting essentially the same product. The compendium(s) are all hefty boys, and holding the book the way that I read makes my hands a bit sore after about an hour, but the story is so good it's worth some very tolerable hand cramps. There's practically no cons that I can think of save for one, which are the comments and sketches from Kirkman and Ottley that could normally be found at the end of each trade paperback. Reading the notes and things they had to say always added an extra layer of enjoyment after just finishing one of the books. The forewords that accompanied each of the trade paperbacks were also welcome, and some of them were kind of funny.Aside from that, Invincible is a 10/10. The show made me want to read the rest of the series, so I am, and I am addicted. Even if you know nothing about Invincible, the show or comic, if you enjoy superhero comics then this is a must-read. Kirkman takes the story in an interesting direction with each twist, especially when you think that the larger overarching plot can't go anywhere else. Ottley's art has dramatically improved since he was picked up way back near the beginning of the series, and he is easily one of my favorite modern comic artists at this point. The duo can do no wrong, and honestly after being on a heavy manga stint for a while, this series has re-invigorated my love for Western comics, and has made me want to try out more independent series (not Marvel or DC).One last thing, if you're hesitant on taking the plunge, Comixology Unlimited (as of 06/28/2022) lets you read the first 10 volumes/trade paperbacks of the series, which gets you past where the first season of the show ends by a fair chunk, and gives you a glimpse of what's to come. You're welcome for the free advertising Amazon. And to any future readers, welcome.

Action and Plot Twist Galore
Another ones come and gone. This volume is great. It can definitely feel slow sometimes. But it is worth the effort and patience.

incredible
Invincible is my all time favorite and Vol. 2 takes the cake on the epic story with a well rounded, all action all the time story. It’s my second time diving in and it’s still as enjoyable as the first.
