first time replacing a mica sheet, good thing I bought 2 packs. this was large enough to make a replacement for my microwave oven. make sure you hold the old one tight and you scribe a line as to where to cut it. most important, use sharp scissors and cut slowly . My mica sheet had a plastic retaining pin hole to make , but since the old mica sheet was blown out much care was used to try and make it fit.

It worked! Easy as pie. My 18-year-old microwave, that I love and use several times each day may even last me another 18 years.
