This one was good I loved the angel paranormal part and the love between Ivy & Tristan you just could not get enough of just rooting for them. The sad thing which is not a spoiler is Ivy is alive and Tristan is well dead an Angel to be exact. The story line was not strong in this book as it kept leading to Ivy being hunted down, and it gave you some clues of guessing who is behind it but not to much.. Ivy's mom got married to a well off man and his son, which Ivy became instant family with her stepbrother Gregory whom she did not like at first. I loved Lacey who was an Angel too and she had me laughing.. Heavy hearted, funny, friends, family and love is what this book is and I ate it up. Read all three in 2 days. Recommend if you love angel books.. Favorite Quote: "Ivy," he said. The word was like a kiss. "Ivy." The word was a kiss. (Page 107) before Tristan died.The Power of Love: 3 stars.. really 2.45 but I rounded. Have to be honest did not really like this, still love Tristan, Ivy and Lacey's part but it kind of made my stomach turn when Ivy and Gregory who is a creepy and crazy person started to get way to close. I know their DNA was not related but still your stepbrother yuck.. that really turned me off in this book. I know with Gregory losing his mom and Ivy losing Tristan they supported each other but went just to far. The story line in this one you could guess who was behind trying to get Ivy killed, just by the way the the story was going. If you factor in Tristan helping to save Ivy then that is what will keep you going on to read till the end.. You can not get enough of that love and I loved that part Team Tristan & Ivy.. Recommend because you will want to keep finding out what happens..( Book 2).Soulmates: 3.75 stars.. Ok so the plot to all these books built up to this one and to be honest I still did not really get or like the plot line. To kill so many people close to you so no one finds out about a secret you were keeping just for money was sad. Trying to make Ivy look crazy and trying to kill herself because of Tristan was a good plot but then it just got past that point and your going really like do you think your going to get by with that.. I don't know why Ivy's parents sided with Gregory and not stop and think maybe she is telling the truth but to not listen to what your daughter is saying then mom might need to check yourself. When Ivy has never had any problems before you would think that her mom would question that something was not right. I don't like in plots when parents are so clueless and think that their kid is crazy when they never had troubles before.. Tristan and Lacey spent the whole book trying to figure out how to stop Ivy from being killed. Ivy still loving Tristan but fell in love with Will who helped save her many times over. Lacey who has been an Angel for 2 years has not moved on because she has not finished her task of what she did in the living. She was an actress but died in plane crash and is on the bottom of ocean. When Tristan came to his grave Lacey was there so she helped him learn to talk to Ivy, Beth, and Will so they could get to bottom of the killings. Lacey in the end I think fell in love with Tristan. I don't know what happened to her because she last said she would look after Ivy & her friends then you don't hear anymore about her. She might be in the next book which I'm half way through Evercrossed (book 4) but she has not showed up yet.. I hope she comes back I really would like to know if she got to move on.. Tristan and Ivy's love is still strong and I'm reading book 4 to keep that love alive. Recommend if you love Angels, Family, Friends and just some Love.. (Book 3).Favorite Quote: "Try to understand," she begged him silently. "I gave my heart to you, but it's still mine." (Soulmates page 75) after Tristan died..
