I’m a chapstick and salve hoarder, I have to have lip balm and beeswax and honey based skin salve with me always. My bag probably has 5-10 tubes when I empty it out. Every room in my house has something.I make my own and also use commercially made lip balms, and I really like this honey 🍯 and beeswax balm; a decent alternative Burt’s Bees honey (but a bit different).This smells like real natural beeswax and honey, not the synthetic fragrance oils that are added to most honey lip balms to give it that smell people think honey smells like.I was also looking for a formula that had natural beeswax and honey in it, and had a smoothe, slightly waxy (not in a bad way) feel, so it felt like a beeswax/buttery seal of moisture on my lips. Works great on skin as well. Great for anyone who is outdoors a lot year round; or during the cold, dry winter months.While I make my own lip balms and salves, I like to have some commercial tubes around also. When I find a small brand that’s located near me in the PNW 🌲, I like to support them. I recommend this 🍯 version.

I have very sensitive skin due to a genetic condition, and am unable to use many over the counter products. This product is gentle but gets the job done, and is not so strongly scented as to be overwhelming while still being pleasant. Definitely a favourite, will be buying again!

I Finally found an organic lip balm that has non-Nano zinc oxide SPF protection instead of an SPF with questionable chemicals. Other lip balms with zinc oxide left my lips dry and some just were over priced! Portland Bee Balm works great, moisturizes your lips, and only has only 4 safe ingredients!

Hands down my favorite brand of lip balm, but the eclipse leaves a yellow tint from the sunscreen. I’ll stick to the original!

I've been using the original for yrs, and I've started using the Solar type for sunny hikes.

I LOVE this product! I am a chronic chapstick user! I have tried them all at great expense! Once I found this by fluke, I refuse to have anything else at the ready! I’ve got 3 boxes for backup or to pass on to friends who comment on it’s unique packaging appearance. My mum brought it back from my sister’s holiday home in Depot Bay Oregon...
