Ever since getting this panini press I have not felt the need to buy sandwiches outside at all, I can just make my own at home and they come out just as good if not better. The grill marks and the way it presses everything together just makes the sandwich look and taste so much more satisfying. It heats up fast and the indicator light lets you know exactly when it is ready which is really handy. Honestly one of the best small kitchen purchases I have made, it just pays for itself every time you use it.

So we use ours regularly! It was great at first for sandwiches, i found its an easy way to make eggs in the morning when you dont have the energy to watch a skillet. Ive made quesadilla pockets and chicken patties on it! But Ive realized recently that after regular use the metal is starting to loosen an theres a distinct tick sound when its headed up sounds like a heating coil issue so ive been keeping a closer eye on it, but overall for the price its been good for a starter one.

absolute worst sandwich maker, a loose screw found in the bag, used twice, it heats up very quickly and unevenly and burned bread's outer layer and inner material stays unheated, after 2nd use i picked it up and rear foot fall apart it just sits on the counter seems like over heating or what reason fell off like a tooth, i was thinking about putting under the pillow, don't look at reviews, i packed up for return, what a piece of ..

I was looking for a sandwich press with a safe cooking surface, and discovered this press. Something for a fun snack here or there. I hadn't had a grilled cheese since I was in my teens and have been wanting to try one that's been made on a press like this. Let me say, this made the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Way better than how I remember making them in a frying pan on the stove, and a lot quicker. Both sides toasted nicely, for me, in just 4 minutes(Tried 5 and a little to burnt for my liking. I believe recipe included says 5 minutes for a grilled cheese). Only issue with the press is cleaning it. The cooking surface is easy to clean, but whatever may leak out of the sandwich onto the exterior plastic is hard to clean off. When I bought it, I expected the cooking surface to be removable for cleaning/rinsing. Nope, regardless, I highly recommend this press. A lot of fun.
