BAD DOG FOOD
I’ve been ordering this dog food for a long time, from a company or ordering from Amazon, this particular bagI ordered from amazon is almost at the expiration date, my dog was throwing up for two days couldn’t figure out why??? and he never regurgitates his food so I looked at the bag at the expiration date, VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS WAS SHIPPED TO ME

Excellent Product
Our pup was having extreme digestive issues that were hard to diagnose. We switched to this brand, and because it is one of the only dog foods on the market with NO FISH ingredients we were extremely excited that she started having healthy elimination. We have tried 3 different proteins from this company, and have been happy with all of them. If your dog is sensitive to fish - look at the fact that most omega 3 is from fish sources. A huge THANK YOU to Zignature for addressing this and being our solution.

My flavor rating is based on how well my husky liked it
Bought 4lb bag to try. My Siberian husky didn't care for the goat flavor. He loves the catfish flavor and he loves the fowl treats. He's kind of a treat snob. We alternate his food flavor and we have a few different brands we alternate for him because he gets tired of the same. I don't think this goat flavor is bad dog food. He ate it eventually. It just was not his favorite. Wont buy it again He loved the 4lb bag of catfish flavor so I recently purchased the 12.5 pound bag. It doesn't smell very fresh like the 4lb bag did and he sure isn't as interested in this bag. Also my dog absolutely could not get enough water while eating it. The sodium content is high. I had to buy another brand and alternate the zignature giving it only every third day. I saw where chewy offered a zignature low sodium we may try that. But I won't buy the regular zignature again based on the sodium content. I don't know if the bags sold here were a batch mess up or if they all contain such high sodium but there's definitely a lot in it.

Good Alternative to the Venison
Purchased this as a cheaper alternative to Venison. Same formula, just a different protein. Been giving it to my dog a few months and no issues to report (highly sensitive and allergic to many ingredients and proteins). Update: Well I have gone back to venison due to the goat formula causing breath issues... and when I say "breath issues," I'm talking serious stink-breath. Having switched back to venison, the problem has disappeared. Not sure what was going on. Maybe she just has trouble digesting goat protein, but if it's sitting in her stomach long enough to cause that kind of problem, it can't be good for her.
