I loved this box so much, I ordered another one for my expanding towel collection. This is an update to old review. After a sweltering summer that warps a lot of plastic, tropical storms, wintering outside and being sat on by children regularly, this little box is still perfect. Again, it performed so well, I just bought another.Original Review: I do not typically review an item so soon. I have had this box about 3 weeks. It was amazingly easy to put together. No tools are needed at all. It simply snaps together. It was very easy for one person to assemble. I did it alone, indoors, in less than ten minutes. My favorite feature about this box is that so far, it is completely waterproof. I live in the southeast, and we have had a tremendous amount of rain this year. I store pool towels in it, and so far this box has faced two tropical storms/depressions and still not a single leak. The box is not heavy, so I think I would bring it in if strong winds were an issue. The only water that has gotten into this box so far was dripped in by wet children looking for towels.I think this is a perfect option for storing towels by the pool. The description says it can be used as a seat, but I do not use it that way. For sitting, I buy chairs. For storing my pool towels, this has served very nicely. So far, we have had several very hot, sunny days and there is no sign of warping in the plastic. Call it resin wicker if you want, it is a very heavy duty plastic. It looks like plastic, but is attractive enough on my pool deck. I can store about 12 to 15 rolled towels in the box. I love having the towels available at poolside, and having them stay nice and dry is even better. I have not been disappointed at all in this purchase.

I was in need of something for outdoor storage that would protect the stuff from being ruined while not looking tacky. That's when I saw this in Target, I had seen them online, but never in person and it was much larger and nicer quality than I had expected. Being a lover of Amazon I immediately checked to see if it was available. I got it for $10 cheaper with free 2 day prime shipping and love it! Its not too big, not too small and I can fit all kinds of things in it (e.g. extension cord, car wash stuff, water hose etc...) So far so good, its kept all my belongings clean, dry, and bug free. It was easy to put together by myself (literally took 2 minutes) although I did read previous reviews about others putting theirs together wrong and ruining it. So I did follow the directions as others have mentioned, you MUST put certain pieces together first as it says in the instructions, because once its together you CANNOT take it apart! With that being said, I would purchase again and completely recommend this product! Great product for the price! May buy another larger one as well soon!

After looking at a range of outdoor storage furniture and being turned off by high prices, even at the lower-end stores like Target and even K-Mart, I settled on this item from Amazon. Note that I paid $30 (with free Prime shipping) for the item, but even without the sale price ($49.99 I believe) I see this as an incredible value.I use the storage seat as a place to dump some miscellaneous items on my apartment balcony. It fits a decent amount, perhaps even a bit more than expected based on eyeballing it from a distance, including several shoes, and overpacked beach tote with towels, etc, and a few other items. It's exactly what I needed to get everything off the ground and free up some space inside, and is decent enough looking to not have to be hidden. Best of all, an infant could assemble it (it has five whole parts, and no screws; everything snaps together), though after reading some reviews about how difficult it is to remedy errors made in the "construction" process I was extra careful to get it right the first time.That said, it's a little rough around the edges, both in terms of small bits of extra plastic left on from the mold from the factory that I had to peel off, and generally speaking aesthetically: I wouldn't make this a focal point of my home, for example, but as mentioned above it does its job just fine somewhat tucked away.For $30 and free shipping this is truly an amazing value. At $50 it's still pretty good, and worth the money.

I have been looking for a side table for my patio for weeks and have been unable to find one that I really like. When I found this item I was excited because I also need some storage for my pool items so this looked like the perfect two in one for me. It goes together great and is sturdy when put together. I don't think that I would want an adult to sit on it (I certainly won't) but it works perfectly as a small side table just to put some drinks or sunscreen on. The inside is a great size. It easily holds 4 pool sized towels, two pairs of swimming goggles, a pair of pool shoes, a couple of pool diving rings, and 3 bottles of suncreen. It could easily fit more. This item deserves the rare 5 star rating from me me because it's an awesome price, holds a lot, seems sturdy when put together, looks nice enough for my purposes, and the contents inside have stayed dry even though the container has been sitting in the Florida rain all day. I just ordered the matching outdoor garbage can. I was planning on buying a plain old cheap garbage can, but since I like this storage unit it would be nice to have a matching, sturdy garbage can with the locking lid. The lid on this item is great, it stays closed even in the wind and rain.
