Great for airsoft and rain
Used for milsim west airsoft event. Used it for night while it was raining along with morning raiding. Generally quiet with thick material. Does shine in harsh light of leds. Gets warm, so great for mornings. 5/5.

Pictures are very misleading
I gave 3 stars because the material seems to be good quality, but that's where the positive stops. The photos are not accurate at all. They show a heavy drawstring for the hood, when in fact it's smaller/cheaper than a shoelace. The snaps are very cheap plastic, and the grommets are extremely thin and no doubt would pull out if used. One photo showed a man with a backpack wearing it, the hood was full covering and the bottom of the poncho hit him mid-calf...UNTRUE. I'm right at 6ft tall with a slender to medium build, and with nothing but a t-shirt on(no backpack or jacket) it hit me WELL above the knees. If you're buying for a child, you're good to go, because it fit my 11yr old perfectly.

good multi-use item
purchased this because of frequent freak storms in the area, this can be used as a tarp, a shelter, and rain gear, the nice thing about this kind of poncho is it covers your pack as well as keeping you and your gear dry in severe downpours if you are caught out in one

The bag is a nice addition.
Only issue is it's a bit narrow for me. I'm not unusually wide or anything. Feels like much higher quality than the one I had in the Army, and that one was sturdy.

Good material, cheap grommets
I was skeptical of this from the start, but I wanted something cheap to start my bug out bag. When it arrived, I was initially satisfied by the feel of the fabric, and it came in a neat little bag that was made of the same material and had a little neck gator included inside the bag. A couple little extras that I didn’t expect, which was nice.So I threw this in my bag for a few days and forgot about it. I can’t back to it later to get a little better look. I wasn’t impressed with the grommets, they seemed very cheap, like they would rip out with the slightest stress put on them. The material felt a little thin to me also, so I decided to try to find a replacement. The replacement I found was a US army issue poncho that I found at a local army navy store. When I brought that home and compared it this poncho, it seemed that the material was of a similar quality and thickness. It was obvious that the army poncho had much better quality production, so that stayed in my bug out bag. This product I decided was still decent enough to place in my truck for any emergency or any event I might need it for. It will stick inside my EDC as a stop gap to get me home to my main bag. Overall decent quality, but not tested in the weather .

Not gov issue.
This poncho is not a genuine government issue type poncho. This doesn't mean is is bad. It's just different. The fabric is slightly heavier and shinier than the original GI item. The stitching, draw-strings, snaps, and grommets are a bit flimsy compared to the original. Unlike the GI item, the neck opening has a zipper closure over an inner material patch. It's OK for what it is, but don't expect to use it for TA-50 turn in.

Decent poncho for price but not perfect
Pros:-Lightweight but thick-comes with case-good price point-while sitting down on ground, it was able to cover my legsCons:As seen in the pictures:- hood only covered half of my head head which allowed rain or snow access (I have another hood underneath for comparison that covers my full head)- Only goes to above the knees, I am 5'10"I do not own any other mid-high quality ponchos so It's hard to compare but I would rather buy this than the cheap ones at other stores.

Not how I expected to work.
The button easily come off, would not recommend for the storm. And you must wear a rain pants and boots.
