But, It was fine because I know I have slippery hands. Then, I turned the mat over and tried the posture on the bottom side and it was even better - my hands didn't slip at all!● Cushioning: This 6mm thickness feels like more than that, because of good density of the form. Good enough to protect me!● Weight: I measured this mat, with strap holder included, and it is 0.8kg. Considering that lots of travel yoga mats are 0.75kg with 1~1.5mm thickness, this is amazing!I am so happy to find this item. Before this item, I returned a mat that has same thickness, size and weight - but a bad smell and very slippery. This mat is a way better! No bad smell, good functional qualities as I mentioned above, and reasonable price!
