In measuring each, it appears they are the same size. What gives?** A: Well, it's simple. It is not made to fit on the back of the dryer! Your 4 inch hose hooks to the dryer, and at the other end of the hose you attach half of the dryer quick connect. The other half attaches to the wall. Doesn't that make sense?! **Q: Do they make this, or something similar in a 6" diameter?** A: It is possible, but we do not sell any others. The company we get these from does not make it in any other sizes. **Q: Is this for a 4 or 6 inch diameter duct work.** A: 4 inch diameter **Q: Does it come with the part that is mounted to the wall and the fitting for the hose? All I need is a hose?** A: It comes with just the hose. I ordered the wall mounting / hose fitting item separately in case I needed it. I did not need it and it's in my extra parts box.
