That's what friends are for!
Author Mindi Flyth is a master of the transgender genre. In her latest work, a novella titled "He's Stuck as a Schoolgirl: A Novel of Transgender Sugar and Spice," a magic spell goes awry and an ineffectual young man accidentally transforms himself into a 10 year-old schoolgirl.Although life as a 27 year-old male wasn't exactly pleasant for Joe, as sweet little Josie he now has to put up with schoolmate bullying and other childhood embarrassments such as being talked to like he was not really a person. While retaining Joe's original personality, a "Josie" persona begins to emerge in our schoolgirl. "Hissy fits" and pre-pubescence are deftly incorporated with prurient male desires. How the author integrates these conflicts is pure art. The whole formula is so tastefully and humorously done that it really works. Our little heroine does everything in her power to rectify her initial horrible magical mistake and change herself back to her former self. In the process, she comes to some wonderful realizations. The question we are left with is, "Can a little school girl learn to become a happier person than a 27-year-old male who takes little or no responsibility for his life? This is a good one!

Nice Journey
Quite enjoyable - I am not accustomed to the magic portions that achieved the transition so I don't know how normal that they are but I do spend a lot of time reading (and thinking) about transformation and this was well done. it was indeed enjoyable and in true American Bandstand vernacular "I would buy that record because it was easy to dance to".

Gender challenges
This is by-far the Best-Thoughtful Story of a serious-challenge if it did happen to change into a young-girl or it could be transverse an adult women into a man & someone that kept chuggin' around to find 'Hopeful-Answers' to overcome this. As a transgender girl since as young as 1yrs. of age & having to deal-with-a-society that doesn't treat us as 'real', going on 6 decades & much counseling, I've concluded as a Japanese story said, 'If your strong, you will live & if your weak, you will die!.' I have been strong, & recommend anyone to read this cute story of challenge to triumpth. Thank you Mindi Flyth for this story! Keep writing more!

Really great story and good character development
Out of all the body swap stories I've read, this is one of the best. The characters really develop and change throughout the book, so that you actually grow attached to them. The main character is someone you can connect with (usually in body swap stories, I'm left thinking"jerk, you deserved this", but you actually feel for this guy). The ending was unexpected, and delightful.

27 year old schoolgirl
I think if you cleaned up the language it would make a good Disney film. A 27 year old warlock tries to curse his boss for firing him by turning him into a "helpless schoolgirl." The spell backfires and he becomes a very pretty little 8 year old girl with pigtails. Thinking, talking and trying to act like a grown man when you are a cute little girl creates a lot of humorous situations. A fun read!

He's Stuck as a Schoolgirl
A very interesting story. I don't like stories like this. I like stories where a guy dresses as a girl and doesn't change his gender. But this story was cute I was surprised with the ending.

Fun!
Read it through and it was pretty cute! There's a certain kind of TG story with light humiliation that's hard to read when you're not "in the mood", so to speak. But this was pleasant and really delved into the transformation. I would totally recommend it to people looking for a fun TG story.
