But it is 5 years old. It does move to the extent the mud will let it. I am very satisfied with it. **Q: What is the weight limit?** A: I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WEIGHT LIMIT IS ON THESE. I DO KNOW THAT I'M NORMAL SIZE (165 LBS. ) AND THIS SEAT BROKE AFTER BEING USED TWO TIMES. WORST PRODUCT I EVER BOUGHT! **Q: How do you put the seat on?** A: The seat fits onto the shaft and there is a bolt that goes through the seat and the shaft. A lock nut secures the seat to the shaft so the seat is very secure. **Q: Can the bottom paddle be removed so you can use it for dove hunting in a field - not in the mud?** A: There is a welded plate on the shaft that the three legs are attached to. The legs are attached to the plate with a holt and a locking nut.
