Floral Alphabet Coloring Book (Dover Alphabet Coloring Books)

I love this charming & clever coloring book! I've adored Dover books since I was a kid, this coloring book does not disappoint.It's a standard full sized Dover soft cover coloring book, on their standard, decent quality paper, double sided printing. There is 1 page for each alphabet letter plus a guide at the back showing each letter illustration & all the plants used in each picture.The illustrations are delightful! Each simple letter is filled with realistic illustrations of plants whose names begin with that coordinating letter (some of the plants are easy to figure out, some are more challenging).This coloring book would be excellent for a teaching aid (kids & adults!) & is also a fun puzzle-like coloring experience.

Was disappointed that the book was small but on the other hand loved the pictures that showed what is in the letter.

This book is adorable! I love how each letter is filled in with plants that start with that letter and there is a guide to all of it in the back of the book! Keep in mind that these pages are double sided, so you will need to make copies of the pages if you wish to color them as a set outside of the book. The pages are also slightly thin, so it's possible coloring in will show through on the other side.

After school class to make their names and learn about flowers, shrubs, plants.

The illustrations/artwork is lovely but the paper is thin and there are letters on both sides of a page. I would happily have colored the letters and used them as gifts had they been more substantial.

Very nice pictures. Easy coloring but a little boring. Glad I did not pay much.Too bad this book is printed on both sides of the page. Cannot use all the letters.I really like that each letter contains plants that start with that letter. There is a nice guide at the end that tells which plant is which.

Really nice colouring book, with pretty drawings. You don't have to focus on creating 'shading' or effects like some of the other adult colouring books. Overall a lovely book with nice smooth paper. This book would suit older people too due to the lack of ultra fine details or 'jigsaw effect' of images that some of the other books have. No ultra fine motor skills required!

This book arrived on time and well packaged. I bought the book as a present for a young person interested in art especially colouring and I think it was a good choice. The book has some lovely images which when coloured can be used for a number of art projects. If you are looking for a book that offers great versatility then you should definitely buy it.

The designs are lovely but sadly the paper is so thin I can only use pencils not felt pens as they bleed through and unfortunately the designs are on both sides of pages. Disappointed by this.

Lovely, such pretty pictures and different to the usual ones.The paper is good quality and I look forward to colouring it in.Good price too.

As an adult reverting back to childhood days of colouring, I absolutely love this book and love colouring the flowers. Colouring, I found, is very therapeudic and helps to combat the stresses of the adult world. Recommended to anyone who is "feeling the strain"!
