Pretty, but fabric & stitching tears, springs ascend & coloring fades within 6 months!
So this sectional from Lifestyle in ginger-colored, faux leather arrived in two boxes and was easy to assemble within 15 mins. I like the fact that the seat cushions are velcroed to the back of the frame, as you can easily replace them later if need be, but the seat cushions are all attached to the frame and each other, making it impossible to replace a cushion if need be. The upholstery color is a nice, patina leather-like look, just as seen in the photos. The color is camel, although within 6 months, the seat cushion coloring has faded to an ugly, dirty-looking coloring. The springs within the frame come up in places, too, within 6 months, making the seats uncomfortable. Worst of all, though, is that the fabric rips in multiple places within 6 months. It is definitely not upholstery strength fabric or stitching. The stitching is clothing-grade at best, and the seams have come undone within 6 months, on the seat cushions and the back cushions. The fabric on the seat cushions has ripped in 15 places in 6 months. We are simply 2 adults, one of whom isn't even at home during the day. I am really disappointed, as the sectional is pretty. But sometimes, you get what you pay for. For $900, I expect more than 6 months use! I have filed for a complete refund with Amazon and they have contacted Lifestyle on my behalf. I am in the 2-day waiting period to see what the seller decides to do. I hope they do the right thing.---UPDATE: After about a week has passed since Sandra kindly offer to remedy this situation by either 1. Replacing the sectional entirely at no shipping cost to me, or 2. Send me a partial refund for the damages occurring to normal wear of two middle-age/senior adults over only a 6 month period, after I upload photographs diligently as requested to this thread of not only the up-close views of the tears in the fabric and the stitching, but also the long shots of the entire sectional in the living room with arrows pointing to where the wear has occurred, I am still waiting for your conclusion. I at first thought a full replacement would be fine, since I could at least take measures to cover the sectional with a slipcover to represent the very poor quality fabric and stitching from wearing out once again, but my husband wasn’t keen on that as a solution. He wanted to know what kind of partial refund you are willing to offer. We are still awaiting that answer.I got a voice mail yesterday from a man named Israel at 909-284-8918 and called him back just now. He offered a full replacement of the sectional just as did Sandra, but then told me I’d have to pay for the freight. I told him that is unacceptable. Why should I have to pay anything when I have already spend $900 on a poor quality piece of furniture. I explained to him that Sandra had offered a replacement with no shipping costs or a partial refund, the amount we are still waiting to hear about. Then he began to question whether or not we have dogs and cats in this house, which we do not, not in this house. Then he said the tears must have been done with a knife. I am not sure what kind of stories he is making up to justify the poor quality of the fabric and stitching, but I put my foot down.I told him we are a 48-year-old female and 69-year-old male, both professionals. I work from home in my home office and my husband works 20 minutes away 5 days a week, so we are together on our sectional in the evenings, eating dinner, watching movies for a few hours. Sometimes I will do my work from the sectional during the day. We wear jeans mostly and do not wear our shoes around the house. The you sit down on the seat cushions, the fabric being so thin and taught has an opportunity to tear. I am only 150 pounds and my husband is only 170 pounds. You should be able to wear your own clothing and sit on your own couch without the fabric and stitching tearing within 6 months. I told him we are home owners and take great care of our home and belongings, that we have antique furniture that has held up better than this sectional has. I am a voice over actor, working from my professional home studio with clients all over the world. I am on the board of directors of our community of townhouses, as the treasurer and secretary. There is absolutely no excuse for such a thin fabric to be used on furniture. I worked for 3 years at a high end upholstery fabric design firm in NYC, and the upholstery fabric manufactured at our factory in Pennsylvania had to pass a threshold on the double-rubs scale to prove performance in a residential setting, and an even higher threshold for commercial use. This fabric on your sectional has no proof of durability, and the stitching used is sub-par as well, as evidenced by the seams starting to come apart after only 6 months. So then Israel said what he’d do for me is send me a full replacement at no shipping charge (back to Sandra’s offer), but only if I take down the review on Amazon. I was shocked and told him that it is not ok to ask customers to remove their reviews and that it is bribery he is attempting. He denied that he was trying to bribe me, but I told him it is flat out bribery to offer a replacement of a product but only if and once a customer removes a review of that product. And I told him I’d report it to Amazon. I said to Israel if he sends me a replacement sectional, once I receive it and approve it, then I will update my review with that information or consider removing it. I told him that my review is among at least 10 others that state the same complaints of coils coming up and being uncomfortable to sit on, fabric and stitching not holding up, etc. He said he didn’t mean to bribe me. I said, well that is what you have attempted and I will report it to Amazon. He said that is fine and hung up on me!I indeed reported him to Amazon and escalated the case with Amazon today (2/6/20). Amazon has asked them to issue a full refund to me.Then I got a note from Israel at Lifestyle:"According to our experts' identification, this is malicious damage, and these cracks are marks of knife cutting. Pets urine can also corrodes the surface material of sofa and let the material fade. Please notes the surface material of sofa are faux leather that is Men Made. This phenomenon will never happen in normal use."Can you imagine a company manager accusing a customer of malicious damage?! Shameful. We have no pets in this house and no one has taken a knife to our furniture! BUYER BEWARE of terrible, dishonest customer service.

I’d rather sit on a bed of rocks.
It’s not bad until you sit on it. You’re better off sitting on the floor. This has to be the most uncomfortable couch we’ve ever sat on. One episode in of 90 Day Fiancé and I’ve lost feeling in my hip. Pretty sure the bedding in prisons is more comfortable than this stiff plastic torture. Giving it two stars because it does look like the picture... ish. It’s not a bad looking couch... probably good for staging purposes. Or something you’d buy for someone you hate. As I’m writing this review my pug just left the couch to go find a plush pillow to curl up on.... when even your dog hates it, you know it’s a problem. If you hate comfort or don’t want guests to overstay their welcome, then this is the couch for you! 👍🏻

Pretty but not built to last
Piece came damaged and seller offered a small discount. Fast forward one year later and surface not holding up to wear and tear. See pix of cracked fabric. For $900+ would invest in product that lasts longer and can handle every day use.

Love it!
Very happy with the quality of this sectional! Looks very modern and elegant. The faux leather is nice. It’s light and easy to assemble and move around. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for this type of sectional.

Fair but not favorite
Read no further. Product came intact...curbside only. No effort to assist into house so please have someone available...petty at delivery price. Color as pictured/easy assembly. Seats stiff, similar to sitting on stadium bleachers, with a shorterned leg room. My college son liked the couch for his apartment. I would not purchase this for long term use, long time sitting or for anyone who is looking for comfort.

Worst Furniture Ever Purchased
The media could not be loaded. Â The couch is extremely uncomfortable right out of the box. We assumed it would soften with time, but what has really happened is that it has collapsed on itself. The supports for the springs from below snapped out and the springs have pushed up into the padding, making it unusable. My daughter just sliced her foot on the exposed springs that are popping through the cushioning now. The worst furniture we have ever encountered. I would ask the company for a refund, but given the company name I am not bothering to waste my time.
