The latch does not stay latched that's the only issue I have with this product other than that I like it..

Matches the front bumper we installed earlier this year. I live in TX so I think the finish will hold up alright. Rear bumpers on these jeeps are a bit of a PITA to install unless you have child like hands but I knew that going in so the cussing was held to a minimum. I like it, my wife likes it, and that is what matters.

Great stubby bumper for my 97 TJ. Went on w/o issue and looks great. I got the bar for it and that fit great too. I little tight for the wiring for my Smittybilt winch but manageable. I get many compliments on it. Finish is very tough. The bar before I mounted it was simply sitting on the bumper and it was knocked off, bounced off the concrete floor and I couldn't tell it even hit anywhere. I picked it up nervously expecting to see a chip or mark, NOTHING! Great job Rugged Ridge!

I bought the bumper and the tire carrier and this combination is NO joke. Heavy duty and I'm hoping that for the long-term they're worth the $1.300 paid in total for both.I'm a little concerned with a part on the tire carrier, that when closing/closed it rubs the paint and presses against the tailgate when latched. The jeep is a frame off restoration with new heavy duty bushing which may cause the bumper to ride closer to the jeep than it otherwise might so I can't blame this all on the tire carrier.

Disgusting , I bought thinking it would match up with tire carrier and bumper for tj, disgustingly expensive and deceiving, first I bought tire carrier and that was deceiving , I had to later buy bumper that had no hitch that was also expensive, I wouldn’t of bNever do it again, i want to send it back but I had to make so many modifications because it does not line up with welded base on tj and it’s way too heavy. Bitterly disappointed

Great Bumper, only problem I have with this bumper is it states will work with factory hitch but it doesn't. I miss my Hitch.

I was very happy with the purchase of this bumper. I have no doubts about this bumper lasting a long time, very well made. Easy installation only took a matter of minuets after removal of old bumper. I have yet to mount my winch on this bumper and have to admit it looks a little bare without it. Great black finish with heavy duty D rings. I would recommend this to any other jeep lovers.

For just over 300$ shipped to my door I have no complaints about this product. When installing, just remember to leave all bolts loose until installation is complete then tighten everything up at the end and all should go smooth.
