Americolor Powder Food Color, 3gm, Green

This was as described by seller, packaged well, and arrived in a timely manner. I purchased this before to dye powdered sugar for a Rice Chex Puppy Chow mix. I place a about 3 cups of powdered sugar in my food processor. I place a quarter teaspoon at a time on the powdered sugar until it becomes the shade of green that I need to have for a St. Patrick's Day party. This is the only substance that I know of that colors powdered sugar. I am very pleased with this product and purchase.

I have used their gel food coloring,but this was the first time using the powder. Purchased the powder to make macarons, as powder was suggested. The colors came out lovely and could easily be intensified, which I did with other batches. Would recommend adding early in the process however to ensure it mixes through thoroughly. And also, it doesn't take much. I will definitely be continuing to use this line of colors for my macarons moving forward.

This is the best powder food color, i ever used. It work the way, i expect it. I will require everyone to used it.

I've used various powdered colors for food coloring and I love it. The color is very true (red is really red, not pink) and you have to use so little of it to get that intense color. I would recommend it.

I liked this product because it has good strong color and is a powder, which was necessary for my application as a colorant for clear epoxy so that I could make a bond with green glass and keep the appearance.

It takes a little extra work to knead into fondant, but it makes brilliant color and doesn’t mess up the fondant’s consistency!

This is a great powdered food color to add to dry goods like powdered sugar when dusting your baked goods

I’m really, really disappointed. I was so hoping that I would finally be able to make true red and green meringues for Christmas. I only used 4 egg whites and I added almost half the container of red before I realized that even adding the whole darn container would still leave me with pink. Haven’t used the green yet but suspect that it will give me the same pale result. Maybe it works with fat containing ingredients but it’s definitely not working with meringues. If I’m still able I will return these.
