Solid, excellent product. Please read this review.
This is a first-class product. I needed this for a person who is 4'11" and it fits perfectly. I almost did not order because of some wonky reviews (pieces missing, 2 "left wheels", and sundry other things), but I am glad I did order it! I put it together without looking at the instructions. Turns out the instructions are not great, but there is not really much to the installation anyway. Pull all of the pieces out of the box/packaging and then open up the top half of the walker (the top half is fully assembled by itself). Fold out the arms of the top-half and set it on the floor before you start, and it will orient you to how things go together (2 wheels to the front, 2 non-wheel tubes to the rear). IMPORTANT NOTES based upon some of the comments I read prior to ordering: 1. There are white inserts in the tubes. These are NOT to be removed. Leave as is. The tubes will slide right over them. 2. While the rear NON-wheel tubes can go either on the right-side or left-side, the WHEELED tubes have a dedicated right-side or left-side. The WHEELED tubes can only go on one dedicated side. Firstly, the wheels must be to the outside. And the way you can tell if they are right-side or left-side is determined by the location of the adjustment holes and the push-button height adjusters (sounds more complicated than it is. Hard to put into words). They only work one way, so you can't really make a mistake. 3. Use the same adjustment holes all the way around, so it will be level. In my case, I started all four tubes in hole #4. Then size from there for the person who will use it. See the instructions for more details on sizing, and safety. ______ Bottom line, once put together, it is a VERY solid product. Two simple push-buttons quickly and easily collapse the walker. It is very sturdy while still being lightweight. Great value. Warrants more than 5 stars but that's all I can give!

Great for 'fun-sized' people
I needed a walker to help with my knee replacement surgery recovery. I'm 4' 11" tall. Most walkers are too tall and too wide for me. Due to some knee buckling right after my surgery, I really needed a walker that was suited for my height and width. This walker fit the bill. There are 7 holes, spaced about an inch apart, on each leg. The push button peg is easy to use and slips into the hole that fits your height best. Once I had the walker adjusted to my height, I found the walker to be sturdy and reliable. I also ordered separately, some walker gripper pads and glides to make it more comfortable to grip the walker and walk on carpets/tile. But the walker gripper pads and glides aren't a necessity. More of a luxury. The walker is really easy to fold and store. I plan on keeping it in the trunk of my car for those times when I'm running errands and my knee tires out on me.

Very sturdy, easy to maneuver and fold/open
I have had a couple of walkers over the past few years but have found them harder to use as I lose height due to osteoporosis - none of them can be set low enough to have the handgrips at proper wrist height. Guess what? Walkers are manufactured for shorter folks, too (4'6" to 5'5")! This was very welcome news as I am now 5'1", down from 5'5". Right out of the box, it was obvious this walker was a bit heavier than the alumisnum models I have and felt much sturdier. It was simple to quickly determined which post hole on the leg was going to set the handgrips at the proper height and bingo, ready to go! What a relief for my shoulders, wrists, back, hips and knees to be able to walk about with support at the proper height! Easy-peasey to snap open to use or push closed to put in the car. I've taken this Medline Guardian walker to doctor's appointments, for pharmacy visits and, just this morning, to a local appliance dealership to buy a new washing machine - comfortable to use anywhere. A walker that can adjust to the proper height for you is a blessing so, if you're on the shorter side, definitely consider buying this unit; seriously, it will change your ability to move for the better and, in so doing, will change your life.

A good walker for the short-statured
Since I am shorter than most of my friends (5ft 0), I couldn't borrow a walker when I got a hip replacement. This youth model worked perfectly. It is economical, easy to fold/unfold, and fit in a car. A minor issue for me is that it unfolds very easily, making it a bit tricky to carry. Still, that is better than wrestling to unfold the thing when you need it. Since I only needed it for a week or so and it doesn't have a basket, I attached a tote bag to the front so I could transport things like my laptop. Great for the self-esteem to be able to carry personal items myself, rather than asking for help constantly.

OK for a short term use but watch out for the hard handles!
Ok for the price. Better than using two canes. My main issue with it is the very hard handles that cannot be removed. They have ridges on either end and they’re not long enough to accommodate anything but a very small hand without some sort of padding. There are high, hard ridges that are too close together so that even a wrap can slide over one of them and it makes it extremely painful after a few uses. Be sure to purchase wraps, but if you do have typically small hands, the thick ones may be too hard to wrap your hand around. The walker is otherwise very convenient. It gets me around faster than using canes. It is easy to put together, which is good because the instructions do not include how to attach the wheels so be aware the wheels are supposed to be on the outside not the inside of the two front legs.

Sturdy walker
Bought this for my mom after a bad fall and a time in rehab. She is very short so this worked perfectly. The walker itself is very sturdy and easy to put together and set to the proper height. It worked well for her when she needed the extra help for balance. Now she moved on to a cane. This walker came recommended from the physical therapist. She gave me the Amazon item number. It was a necessary and good purchase at the time.

Perfect for my height
I had to have hip replacement surgery and I’m 4ft 10in so regular walkers didn’t come down low enough and made my shoulders ache. So I searched and found this one for youth and it’s a better fit for my size. Very sturdy, well made, folds easily, easy to assemble and adjust. Great product.

Reglar ski gliders fit once the original end caps wear through
My mom is 4'8" and her physical therapist was SO happy to see this, as my mom had to shrug her shoulders up to her ears to use standard-height devices. Ski gliders: long story short, if you can't fit standard 1 and 1/8" glider caps onto the end of your walker becase the pre-installed end caps are too fat and you can't figure out how to remove them, just wait unti the pre-installed end caps wear out (will be fast if on rough concrete) and then just use any other standard ski glider. Long story: other reviews say the tubing is too thin for standard gliders, but on mine (bought in May 2026) the plastic end caps that came already built into this walker were actually too fat to slip a standard glider over. I didn't see a way to remove them. I searched for extra large gliders (bigger than 1 and 1/8 inch) and could not find any. Thankfully another reviewer said they called MedLine and they told them what gliders would work, so I did that and Medline indeed was very helpful, but those are still just standard gliders that slip into the end of the 1" tube rather than slipping over the outside of the tube. So if I knew how to remove the original end caps, I could insert these. However, I then realized that my mom had already worn through the pre-installed gliders so they were no longer in the way, and I could slip the standard-sized ski gliders over the end of the tube (or, install the Medline ones). SHORT CANE and ROLLATOR: In case helpful, I also found a small cane ("Short Self Standing Cane With 4 Feet" - it broke quickly so i had to get a second one, but it's the only tiny cane I've found, so I'm willing to do that). But I could not find a small rollator (frustratingly, many market themselves as small, but all are really about the same - about 32" at the smallest).

Met the expectations
The product was easy to unpack and assemble. It feels sturdy and has been working well so far. Since I use it on a carpeted floor, I replaced the original non-slip feet with easy-glide ones to improve mobility. After making that adjustment, it has performed as expected. So far, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
