A practically perfect potion to prevent ingrown hairs, treat mild acne, refresh your skin. Glycolic acid 10% which is your “entry level” strength. Wash & dry the area. Prepare a little baking soda paste in the sink. Use a large cotton ball or a cotton pad to apply toner to affected areas 2 times weekly. If the treated area starts to sting, try to tough it out for 30-60 seconds and then rub on or splash on the baking soda paste to neutralize the acid. The paste will also stop the peeling on your fingers, avoiding the need to re-do your fingerprints for your smartphone log-ins. If after at least a few applications you feel your skin needs a stronger peel, you can buy a higher glycolic acid strength. Or see an esthetician.

This may be my first Amazon review. Anyway, I'm a 23 y/o woman. I have very dry and pretty sensitive skin. Acne has never been an issue for me. However, I do remove hair from my face using an electric razor and have always received tiny breakouts from ingrown hairs ~2 weeks post-shave (they get inflamed because I try to squeeze them). Anyway, this is the only product I've used that has made a significant difference in the number of breakouts I get now (little to none). I've also tried the Paula's Choice AHA/BHA chem. exfoliant (around $30), but find this glycolic toner to be way more effective! Pretty good for hyperpigmentation too. Stings a little when applying (I only use a couple of drops for entire face) but it's totally tolerable. Will be purchasing again, which is why I made this review.

It feels good on the skin, the smell is amazing and this product tightens the skin which is a plus cause the skin feels cleansed and that's what you need and want to feel!

This is the real deal iVe recently experienced a bad breakout of acne and ingrown hairs and at first I applied this to my hand and straight to my face after a shower and that thing BURRRRN LIKE HELLL 😂 but I’ve noticed that if you use a toner facial pad it calms down the burn effect my skin is feeling great now smooth as ever again and I recommend it to all my brothers out there going through similar problems stay blessed BEVEL #1

Dark skin girl here that is very prone to ingrowns and irritated dark underarms. I bought this from cvs a yr ago and loved it for my underarms, really worked so well for me. However the one I bought from CVS was a brown color, the one I bought here was clear, so really confused. Since using this one I’ve still had ingrowns and with the last bottle they’d gone away. Not sure if the formula changed or what. I did notice that it’s distributed by two different locations and that some other reviewers got a dark liquid and some got clear, so perhaps the formula is different depending on which place you get it from? Doesn’t really make sense but hopefully this formula starts working for me

I bought this for my fiance and he loves this brand. Now this is some special kind of toner because when I say it burns, it burns honey!! I use toners all the time but this stuff feels like acid lol idk but he likes it so hey. But it does get the job done

Recently purchased the whole skincare line. I like most black men have some hyperpigmentation and wanted to take better care of my skin. Although you only use the toner twice a week it has a slight burn but does what it's suppose to do. Love the product!

I love this toner, it is one of my favorites I have used so far. I don't find that it burns unless I have an open blemish, which is to be expected. I use it every night before bed. This is a great Amazon find and worth the buy
