Fox Run Marble Cheese Slicer, White, 1 Replacement Wire, 3841COM

Works great. I ended up dropping the handle down and that little marble piece broke in 1/2. My fault but it doesn’t affect the functionality of the product. Should have bought. A cheese cutter a long time ago.

Love it! So far this cheese slicer is amazing and so easy to use. The wire is sharp and has cut through anything from a sharp aged cheddar to a softer goat cheese. The marble slab is thick and durable, but also super easy to clean. Just wash it in the sink but avoid the cutting wire getting wet. Overall it works very well and is a good purchase if you enjoy cheese or making charcuterie boards.

Nice have marble cheese slicer. The material is durable and easy to clean after use. It is easy to use with softer smaller blocks of cheese. We like to buy big blocks of Colby jack from Sam’s and sometimes it can prove to be difficult to cut. Not the slicers fault. The wire is good to get through the cheese; however after a month it broke. The slicer does come with one replacement. I have ordered and additional pack of wires since I have to use the one provided. Overall it works well and is a good value for the cost.

Makes slicing cheese real easy.

I was really disappointed with the Fox Run Marble Cheese Slicer. When it arrived, the slicer was already broken — the wire was detached and the base had a noticeable crack. I tried to fix it, but the wire won’t stay in place and it doesn’t cut cheese at all. This item is cheaply made and clearly not durable. Total waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

It worked really well...maybe 30 different occasions until the wire broke.I think the issue is with the handle, so the design is a bit poor.When using it, I think you should put something under the handle (which is likely to make it awkward to use) to prevent it from going to below the cutting channel. I did not pay attention to this or think about it being an issue...when you make a cut (which I found to be very effective) through the cheese the wire stops at the bottom of the cutting channel, but there is nothing stopping how far the handle goes down...so the handle can go lower than the cutting channel and this puts stress on the wire at the sharp edge of the cutting channel until eventually the wires snaps.
