Awesome headset.
I have an HJC RPHA Pro 11 which this was specifically designed for so the fit is obviously flawless but Cardo has done a pretty good job making the kit pretty much universal. One thing I was really impressed with was the production value put just into the packaging. (You order one you'll know what I mean). Pros: Sleek design. Good battery life. Easy to use. Easy to install. Cons: more like down sides but not deal breakers. The non boom mic didn't work at speed on my bike. And I mean doing 10mph in the alley way people couldn't hear me. Changed it over to boom mic and no problems. You have to talk pretty loud to be heard but it works well. The other is sound quality. The 40mm JBL are sadly treble-ish. When ear buds are producing club quality bass you'd think 40mm wafers would be better. Sound quality is further diminished when ran through the cardo app. Much better to just BT connect to ur phone and use it like a wireless headset. I just use Alexa assistant and run it as a wireless and it's pretty great. Definitely worth the couple hundred bucks for some tunes in the brain bucket and voice guidance from the gps. Definitely recommend this. Especially if u have an HJC helmet.

Attaching the first helmet took a little while, but the second was a breeze.
Takes a bit of practice to get the commands down, but the hands free is great. Sound is very good. Noise cancellation should not be an issue, because I own a Wing and sit behind a windshield. The bluetooth works, but the Mesh has a much stronger signal and sounds amazing. These aren't cheap, but you normally get what you pay for. It was going to be Cardo or Seena and after a lot of reading and research, I was glad I chose these. Took them on a poker run this past Saturday. We are learning proper voice commands, but overall it worked very well. Battery life was good and sound was good. We need to preset radio stations yet and update firmware. Overall, we were extremely happy with the performance and would recommend them to anyone that travels two up. I would like to see how it operates with other bikes, but have not had that opportunity yet. I can say that when my wife and I talk through mesh, it is much clearer and louder than bluetooth.

Amazing! Game changer for MC riding
My wife and I have used these for over 2 months now. I can't speak for how they'll work for a group larger than 2, but it should be the same. We're both amazed at how great these are. We can communicate clearly with each other, even at a fairly far distance without any static or connectivity issues. They increase safety since we can communicate possible threats and we don't have to wonder what the other is doing. I use them with earplugs and I can very clearly hear her or my phone. My older Shoei helmet doesn't have speaker pockets, and no place to stick the velcro. I was able to directly stick the speaker (which already has velcro attached) directly to the fabric inside the helmet. This works fine and it's secure. Speaker placement is critical. I made a very small placement adjustment and it made a huge difference. Even without the speaker pockets, I can't feel the speakers against my ears. These have been the best wireless device I've ever used. They literally work flawlessly, and the batteries do last the specified 10 hours or so. Helmet installation took about 20 minutes per helmet, and they seem to fit almost anything. I highly recommend these. They have made riding together a completely different experience. They're expensive but worth every penny.

Good Product
Sound Quality with ear plugs in: AWESOME !! Voice Control Hands free: Awesome! I did swear at Cardo once in a while for not listening. Maybe I had food in my mouth. 8o) Just used on a 2200 mile ride. Battery never went dead. Charged once a day for 7 days. Used Music all day long. My friend also purchased the CARDO Slim. I mounted mine on a Shoei GT Air, mounted his on a Shoei Neotec 2. His was tricky to install but works awesome. Intercom between us was awesome. Sound quality great. It was a bit frustrating to pair the two helmets together. I'm 56 and gave up pairing. Handed to my kid and he had them paired in minutes. Damn Millennials. hehehehe…….. 8o) I tried to pair to my Garmin and again couldn't figure it out. That same Millennial pointed out that my Garman was as old as I was and did not have blue tooth. Paired to his Garman (of course it had Bluetooth)seamlessly. CARDO, YOU MAKE AN AWESOME PRODUCT. THANKS. 8o)

Great Overall Quality & Features - Plan to Buy Another One
After watching and reading a lot on online reviews, I purchased the Cardo Packtalk Slim. I was drawn to the Slim due to the small size of the control unit. The installation was easy and each piece held securely on and in my helmet. This Cardo unit is waterproof while the Sena units are not. There is a little bit of learning curve to remember which buttons do what but the Natural Voice control works really well and serves to do most of what I want to do like "Next Track" or "Volume Up". I wear a modular with a flip down chin which requires using the boom mic. The call quality is very good on both ends. I have taken several calls and could hear and be heard very well. For music, the sound of the JBL speakers is very good but you must place them correctly over your ears and as close as possible. If you don't get them perfectly place the first time, they are easy to adjust. I used the included spacers to help but wish they sounded just a little better and were a little louder to be heard over the bike and wind noise. I have not used the intercom features to communicate to a passenger or riders yet. I plan to buy another one of these for my wife. The rider-to-rider features offered seem much better than the competition.

Worth $50, a penny more is a rip off
Update after 2 months of use: I want my money back for this piece of garbage. The voice command on it is absolutely worthless and only works probably less than 5% of the time, whether you're using the card or voice commands or trying to say hey Google or OK Google or anything to do with your Android phone. It forced me to use Bixby even though my Cena does not and Bixby does not work with or without a Bluetooth headset. The fact that I have to stop and take my phone out of the protector and manage it, I can't answer or ignore calls with voice command, and it makes me use Bixby makes this car though a total POS and not worth wasting your time on. If I could give it a zero for voice recognition I would. If I could give it a zero for noise cancellation I would. The sound quality is definitely better than my sema, but the voice recognition is completely worthless both for the cardo and for trying to use my Android phone voice commands. It doesn't work consistently and sometimes it opens up Bixby and sometimes it opens up the Google voice Assistant with no consistency. Then it doesn't recognize the command you give it if it does recognize your voice. I wasn't aware these even had noise canceling on them but after riding with them for a couple hundred miles, they are no better than the worst SEMA product. A very disappointing experience and if you're looking for something with voice control, this is the last product you want to buy. By the way, I updated the firmware when I got the device and it still has all the issues that the latest firmware release was supposed to address.

Great product with a huge catch
These headsets work great. Have had zero issues with operation. Sound clarity is good as is feature set. Sound can be a bit soft in the ear, especially if you are on a louder bike. However, the biggest issue is the helmet mount. The setup has two parts, the battery section and main. The batter section mounts just fine via a metal clip, no complaints. But the main unit has a plastic clip that wedges in the shell of the helmet. It holds well. But if you don't have a thin shell on the helmet, the clip is wedged outward and is subject to breaking. If it breaks, you are screwed as this clip is part of the main unit. And since the main and battery components are tethered together with no removable wiring, you have to replace the whole unit. I was offered a discount to purchase a new unit, from their store which is significantly more expensive than Amazon. So essentially, I was instructed to pound sand. I ended up using velcro to secure. I'm not throwing away a perfectly functional unit due to throw away design.

Decepcionante.
Decepcionado con el producto. No cumple con ninguna de sus caracteristicas tecnicas anunciadas, ni tiene 13 horas de autonomia, ni tampoco asegura la comunicacion por DMC a 1 kilometro de distancia. No volvere a comprar otro.

My first comm unit and I lvoe it.
I just invested in my first full face helmet and bought this comm unit to go with it, thanks to a friends advice. I am using it with an Iphone 12 and it works great. I can hear my music very well and clear. I can use siri and Cardo's own voice commands very easily up too 120 kph where then my helmet gets a bit of wind noise. Then it still works half of the time. Those people hear complaining about it being too quiet should check their phones settings first. My iPhone was initially limited so it was too quiet until I fixed that in the settings. Anyway, very happy with this purchase,
J**.
