**Q: how do you clean the box?**
A: You shouldn't have to. I guess if you don't have a sink to wash your chopsticks after you eat then just wash all of it in hot water when you can, the box is made of two separate pieces of plastic, they come completely apart and would be easy to hand wash. I wouldn't put any of it in the dishwasher though.

**Q: I'm confused by some conflicting comments. Are these bamboo or are they plastic? I've seen posts that say both.**
A: I've read that they were bamboo coated with plastic. Either way... all you notice and feel is plastic. So, plastic.

**Q: What are the dimensions of this item?**
A: I don't have a ruler handy but based on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper it's about 10 inches long, maybe 1 wide, and less than 1 tall. The chopsticks are exactly the length to just fit in the box.

**Q: will 9.5"/24cm chopsticks fit in the box?**
A: The interior of the case measures at just about 9.5", so it is unlikely equally long chopsticks would fit. If you could manage to get them in at all they would be stuck hard. The chopsticks provided with the case measure about 9" and have a small amount of head room inside the case.
