DO NOT BUY — Melted/Deformed/Terrible Taste!
The vast majority of Amazon reviews I write are positive; I love Amazon (especially during these difficult times we’re in), and if I’m not thrilled with a product, I typically just shrug it off rather than write anything negative. But as you’ll read below, this one-star review is FULLY justified, and needs to be published for others to know.Anyone who paid $33.00 for some pretty small peanut butter cups (40 count) would expect them to AT LEAST arrive in an edible form, right? Well, that’s not the case with UNREAL. I’m so disappointed in this product, I’ll obviously never order them again, and I strongly advise you to stay away from these as well.A few days ago, I received delivery notification, and (since we’re all still confined to our houses due to COVID), I grabbed them off of my front porch immediately. When I opened the box, though, it became immediately clear that EVERY ONE was deformed/melted, but still hard to the touch (indicating that the melting occurred well before arriving at my house). I know how chocolate/candy works, so I wasn’t expecting these to taste “amazing”...but then I figured “might as well, maybe UNREAL PB cups are somehow different.” Nope. Peanut butter part was the worst — almost chalky, stale, bland...but the chocolate part wasn’t much better, either. It tasted old (maybe it was?), gritty, just completely bad. Could this all be because they melted somewhere along the way...or was a substandard product shipped to me from the start?I remembered reading reviews where others mentioned that their candy was accompanied by ice packs — so I was hoping that maybe this would be the case with my order, given that the weather’s been pretty warm over the past few weeks. Again, nope. Though as I mentioned above, I don’t know if this would have even helped much; I KNOW it wouldn’t have had they shipped old product.Either way, I’m up a certain creek without a paddle because, of course, I can’t return the product. So learn from my terrible experience and find other peanut butter cups to buy — UNREAL lives up to their name because it’s UNREAL that I spent so much money on a worthless box of candy!!!

Item came in completely melted!!! Extremely disappointed!!
I love this product, I ordered two items from them. One was the coconut bites that came in great, as advertised, it was delivered with ice packs to help prevent melting, but the peanut butter ones did not, every single piece of chocolate was a pillow pack of choc goo, I am sooo very disappointed, not only for the fact that the chocolate came in melted as it was not shipped on ice, but when I reached out to the seller, they NEVER replied to my complaint. I really do hope this get rectified soon.

Not worth ordering. Buy in store.
Super bummed about these. I’ve been buying them from Whole Foods, so I know what the taste and texture are like. These arrived and I could tell that they had melted at some point (but they weren’t warm when i received them) and the peanut butter was NOT creamy like it normally is. I would rather have spent more on them at Whole Foods to have a fresh batch. The almond butter cups were the exact same way as well- melted into the wrapper and the almond butter was not creamy.

Small, but delicious
Warning, I'm a Reese's addict and I will be comparing them a lot lol.The chocolate shell is thicker and harder than Reese's. The dark chocolate is a little bit bitter if you're used to milk chocolate, but very tasty. The peanut butter filling tastes similar to Reese's.These are about half the size of a Reese's but overall they are very tasty and it's hard to eat just one. I expected it to taste less sweet since it has barely any sugar, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not going to complain about the price, since these are low sugar, high quality, and responsibly sourced.

Make sure you get this on time other wise it will be melted.
If they had come on time it would have been ok but they were a week late in very hot weather I am not sure why I ordered the variety pack and that came on time and was fine this box I received late is discolored and some have melted so I am not too happy and to return this will be too much trouble so I wasted my money sadly. I Forgot to update this but upon leaving this review they gave me a full refund on the peanut butter cups I think the fault was in the mail carrier not the sender so I would def but this product this is very good chocolate I love the taste I buy this all of the time.

Melted! Stale!
I ordered a box of these because I love peanut butter cups and the reviews seemed quite favorable. *The chocolate had apparently melted at one time so when opening the packages the two per package peanut butter cups were in one-piece, awful-looking blobs. The majority of their surrounding rims were crumpled off and the pieces fell out of the packages. The inside peanut butter of these were worse than the chocolate. The peanut butter was extremely stale, dry and tasteless. I would not order these UNREAL Peanut Butter Cups ever again.

We are greatly disappointed!
Suddenly, I got doubles instead of 40 individual ones! Also, most of them were melted already - yes, they were in a thermal pack, but, obviously, they were melted before being put into the package! What a huge disappointment! And this is so expensive anyway, so, we won't buy these anymore!

Yum, higher chocolate to peanut butter ratio than Reese's
I love peanut butter. I love peanut butter and chocolate, so yes, this is a positive review. Reese's peanut butter cups are my guilty pleasure. I also love Justin's peanut butter cups. Not a knock on Justin's, but to me, Justin's peanut butter cups are pretty much Reese's done with better quality ingredients. The two are similar in size and in chocolate to peanut butter ratio.Unreal's peanut butter cups are different, the chocolate to peanut butter ratio leans heavier on the chocolate, and the quinoa crisps add a nice texture to the otherwise smooth/creamy peanut butter filling. They're not a crumbly kind of peanut butter filling. They're also smaller than your standard Reese's peanut butter cup, about 1.5 inches in diameter, which makes them perfect bite sized snacks. My husband, who normally is NOT a fan of peanut butter really liked them too which I think says something :). He said the quinoa crisps made all the difference. Four thumbs up from this household!
