Besides the quality look and feel, I wanted something that looked modern. This set has very clean lines - even the cushions are so precisely shaped, the corner pieces have beveled edges to fit snug into each other. Little details like velcro on the back and bottom cushions to hold them together, the included all-weather cover, and brackets to hold each of the sectional pieces together, are a huge step in making this a winner.I opted to pay $300 additional for the Sunbrella fabric - to better ensure longevity in the rather mild L.A. seasons.This is my initial review, I will post one in a year or so to report back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We did a lot of research and found this to be a great value. We did a lot of research and found this to be a great value. Delivery was easy. Construction took time but was straightforward. The in-person "look" is good, but it is on the shorter side. Cushions are soft. My only negative comments would be that the wicker is a plastic material, and it looks good but i'm concerned about longevity. We took the glass top off the table because we have young kids (sharp corners) and have been putting stuff straight on the wicker and i see it stretching out a little. The foot rest piece has a raised part on either side to hold the cushion in place a bit. If you use this piece as part of the seating arrangement, instead of how it is meant, It creates a hidden hard bump between the sections. You would not want somebody to flop down where the cushions meet. They could hurt their tail bone. Minor, but good to know. I took the cushion off mine in the photo so you can see what I mean.
