Good gun with 2 peeves
Good nail gun. I’m a solid senco guy and this nail gun works just as I would expect it to with two shortcomings. 1. It doesn’t have dry fire lock out. I’m smart enough to keep an eye on how many nails I have in the gun so that’s not a deal breaker but would be nice for those times I’m working with dummies that don’t check that kind of stuff. 2. It doesn’t come with a hook attached to the gun like my 21ga and 23 ha senco guns have. It does come with a hook that clips onto your belt or carpenter bag. Llame. Again. Not a deal breaker but, damn, what decent nail gun manufacturer doesn’t include a proper clip with their gun. Paslode has built in clips. Maybe I’ll spray paint my Paslode red and tell people it’s a senco.Aside from those two annoyances it’s a decent gun that performs as expected.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that just about all ...
I"m a professional finish carpenter so I use my guns a lot. I gave this series of Senco a chance thinking they may have reclaimed the glory that Senco once had. NOPE!!! I still have 2 old Senco guns from when they were still made in the USA with quality materials, and they just keep working. You paid up for them, but they were worth it. Not any more. I keep this gun around to use for blind work (something nobody will see), but that's all. What an ugly hole in the wood it makes. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that just about all the nail guns available should now be considered a disposable item. If they last me a year, then I'm happy. I'm currently using a DeWalt and it cost me half what the Senco gun cost. So far (6 months) it's hanging in there. I will be surprised if it makes it past the one year mark. It's a shame that the airgun manufacturers have all joined in the race to the bottom, but that's where they are. I despise the whole notion of disposable products, but that seems to be the world we live in. I have a pretty tight relationship with most of my tools, but I gave up on the nail guns. Here today. Gone (won't work or works poorly) tomorrow. You won't read it on Senco's website but the company filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and was bought by a venture capital company in 2009. The idea was to take a recognizable brand and try to make it great again. In my opinion, they failed. Badly, in fact. Their guns may be satisfactory for the weekend warrior, but not for the professional who uses his guns daily.

Still the best
I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years. I still consider the Senco brand as one of the best nailers on the market. I have done direct comparisons between this unit the Makita and Hitachi/Metabo equivalent. Senco is the only one that will go up to an 2-1/8 nail. Unit comes with a belt hook that can be clipped to belt/waistband that I like better then the integrated clip attached to the Makita.

Must purchase
I’m a scenic carpenter and shoot through hard multiply. This is the best gun I’ve used. It has no problem firing into anything. Definitely recommend

Happy with the product and delivery
Happy with the product and delivery. I'm surprised/concerned that 90% of the time I shoot a nail (Senco brand) I get a large spark from the tip of the tool. I assume, there is a rubbing between the took head and the fastener. I've looked and can't see where this is happening and it hasn't presented any trouble. It just seems wrong to get a health spark each time the trigger is pulled.

super
This is my first new nail gun. It's pretty light, well built and the case it comes with is also awesome.I had issues driving some 18ga nails where it would shot but get's stuck half way in the trim work and jammed with the plastic tip cover (located on the nail gun). I think there was an issue what's behind the drywall, can't say for sure.Good thing the gun never shot a nail and not make it all the way through which was the case with my old gun. I think I will love this thing for years!!!!
