SM677 Turn Signal - Wiper/Washer - Hi/Low Beam - Multifunction Switch

I ordered this part for my 2008 F150 super crew. It looks identical to the failed one I removed and was half the cost of the local auto parts chain in town. I did remove the steering wheel, although there are YouTube videos where people have not. The clips are odd, none are identical, but again, there are YouTube videos out there explaining how not to destroy them.

Follow you tube instruction and it when right on.

I bought this to replace the original turn signal multi-switch that had broken in my 2006 F-150. Works great. Look for the YouTube videos that show how to replace this without needing to pull the steering wheel.

Fit and works exactly like original at a fraction of the price.

First I have to say that the part worked (after modification) and was a great value, but one of the connectors did not match my vehicle.When I looked up this part on an auto parts web site, there are actually 2 different switches for the 2005 F-150. One is listed as "Before 11/29/2004" which looks like my vehicle, and one listed as "After 11/29/2004" that looks like this part. The result was that I ended up with 2 identical female connectors that obviously would not connect.I used this part to confirm that it would actually fix my brake light issue, and intended to return it - but no parts store in my town had the correct switch in stock. So, I took a chance and cut the connectors off the new and old switch. I soldered on the old connector using just the wire colors to match them up, and it all worked.

I ordered this for my 2008 Ford F-150 Super Crew. It's an exact match to the one I replaced it with. The price was awesome, I live in Hawaii & my local dealership quoted me $231!!! The least expensive one at a chain auto parts store was $150 I'm a female with basic mechanical skill & knowledge and it took me about 1.5 hours yesterday from start to finish. Borrowed some of my dad's tools, some socket wrenches & a flathead screwdriver. I did disconnect my battery, just incase before dismantling. I would have been done sooner, but I was seriously struggling to replace this small plastic panel under the steering column which I ended up busting off some clips, so be careful. I watched a few YouTube videos, I opted to NOT pull my steering wheel/air bag harness etc off. It was a perfect swap out and upon inspection, looks exactly like the broken original one. It feels like the other, just a little tight, but I'm sure after a while it'll break in. For the price it can't be beat and I highly recommend this part so far.
