Astounding... I am lost without it.
Previous reviewers are full of rave reviews for this. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. My father turned me onto this screwdriver about ten years ago (I think Tim the Tool Man Taylor showed it on one of his sitcom shows) and gave me one. Probably by far one of the best gifts I ever got. This is the original, accept no subsitutes. I used to work for the cable company and gaffing up telephone poles, up 15ft in the air on a ladder on somone's house, you better have what you need. I just recently misplaced mine and a panic set in. I have other screwdrivers but none that just give you that fulfillment that this screwdriver does (maybe it's the gun magazine reloaded feel when putting the bit compartment back into place as so eliquently noted by a previous reviewer?). I know it sounds silly, but I really am lost without it (I just ordered 2 more).A previous reviewer said that they have used it as a hammer when one wasn't available or nearby, and I can vouch for that. I have used mine as a hammer or smacking tool countless times without any real damage to the unit whatsoever. This screwdriver is amazingly durable, not to mention incredibly useful. The torx bits are useful in a pinch, and the square drive bits are quite useful for tightening breaker wire screws in your fuse box. The normal phillips fits everything, and what doesn't the small phillips bit takes over and fits childrens battery compartment toys as well as laptop screws, or a centerpunch for countersinking trim nails. The flat blade bits are quite usefull for doing household electrical work, a chisel, a knife, pry tool, the list just goes on and on.. and don't worry, I don't know what you have to do to damage the bit. Additionaly vouching for the reliability of the bits, after ten years (of fairly abusive behavior) the bits don't show much wear and do not affect functionality. It is VERY rare that I have to resort to a normal un-universal screwdriver as this one is just so flexible in it's functionality.Obviously I fix alot of things to be so excited about a screwdriver, but hey, once you get it you will understand. There was one time I was working up on a telephone pole in a rainstorm (cats and dogs), the inner compartment bits got rusted slightly the next day, but a little motor oil and some TLC made it like new again. There is a stainless steel model of this same screwdriver if you need this for a boat / high hudimity / hostile environments.May I also suggest a non-related tool but one I use as this screwdrivers yin to it's yang?Check out mactools Angled Cutting Pliers P210KN (only available from Mac Tools site). After ten years of abuse and what not they are still as sharp as the day I bought them. If fact, I bought 2. Initially I purchased them to cut battery cables on cars when I was a mechanic, but they have since proved to be every bit as useful and portable as the above screwdriver. They are drop forged and made in Germany.Highly recommended!

Great multi-bit screwdriver
I have purchased and used several types of multi-bit screwdrivers over the years and think the Megapro drivers are some of the best. These drivers have large handles, suitable for high torque and very durable. The bits are well made, fittings screw heads nice and tight. The bits also seem very durable, have not had issues with wear or breaking. The spinning forward grip section and rear cap work to make the Megapro driver like a ratcheting driver, but even better in my opinion. Can push rear cap with palm and spin driver with fingers and it works as fast as a ratcheting driver, but without needing to switch driving direction. Overall, I think the Megapro driver is a great choice for a heavy duty multi-bit driver.

One tool is like 14 different Screwdrivers
I bought this USA made product just to put it in my kitchen drawer. No more searching for the right screwdriver. They are all at my fingertips with one tool. It is well made and seems very durable. The wide handle makes turning screws easy. Also as a well designed product the top cap and bottom collar rotate so A person can turn with one hand and hold the collar for stability with the other. I’ll be buying more of these as Christmas gifts. Fourteen different driver heads is great.

A heavy beautiful beast
Great workmanship and quality parts. The magazine is perfect and the bits stay put on the shaft. Not for small hands but then again the tool is designed for professional use and probably using gloves. Hands down better than Klein, Wera, Whia, Vessel and Anex.

Not as magnetic
I'm a little disappointed in the strength of the magnetic part of the screwdriver! I do like the way the bits are stored in the handle. I expected better quality for the money I spent on it!

Best Multi-bit screwdriver I've ever used
This multi-bit screwdriver is the best I've ever used. It is very good quality and basically lasts forever if you are careful not to lose the bits. I love the rotating handle butt - it makes it very easy to apply pressure at the butt of the screwdriver while turning. This multi-screwdriver is so good I've given them as gifts to all of my tool-oholic family members!

Made in the USA and able to tackle most chores your dollar store multidriver wouldn't
What's not to like? There's multiple double-ended bits to assure you've got the right fit for the job at hand. If you have other two inch long double-ended ¼ inch hex bits with a midlength ball detent, there's no reason why they shouldn't fit this tool, too. This can also be used as a ¼ inch fastener driver without a bit inserted. The bit carrier inside the handle opens and closes smoothly, and a magnet ensures it stays closed securely. I especially appreciate the attention to detail, with the added bonuses of a free rotating cap and collar. You can firmly apply pressure to the end cap with your palm while freely rotating the grip to drive or remove stubborn fasteners. You can also firmly hold the collar at the top of the driver shaft for precision while rotating the grip to drive or remove delicate fasteners or while working in tight spots. Neither the bits nor driver shaft are magnetized. For a few bucks, if you needed it to be, you can always buy a tool magnetizer/demagnetizer. It'll work with all your other steel drivers, too. Overall, this is a handy tool for when you're away from your toolbox, just don't want to grab a whole assortment of drivers to bring to the jobsite, or if you're limited with space.
