Its cheap
The thing gives off a pink light that makes things look weird. Combined with a 3000k bulb it does look okay however. Still if you want cheap, go with Cree.

The "No Bug" Light
I bought two of these bulbs after doing some online research on outdoor light bulbs that did not attract insects. What I learned was that this bulb's LED light wavelength does not attract insects like typical incandescent lights do. I bought these specifically for my two porch lights; I hate getting home at night to find hundreds of insects swarming around my front door, and invariably letting at least 20+ in as I open the door.So far, I can report that my porch lights do not have more than 1-2 bugs flying about them when I arrive home. I'm sure that these bulbs will last as long as advertised. It's a lot of money to shell out for a bulb, I agree, but if I, a.) don't have bugs at my front door at night, and b.) keep these for as long as they say they will work, it's one of the best investments.

Pink-orange, glaring, directed light
I had high hopes for this LED bulb, given the low cost and previous positive reviews.I really don't know what the other reviewers were thinking of, as when I placed this bulb in a fixture, the light it produced was harsh, sharp, not at all realistic in color (a very unpleasant orange-pink) and way too directed for general use.I also got a Cree 9.5 watt LED lamp at the same time, which is everything this one is not: well-rounded illumination, great color temperature, and well-diffused.The cree is at: Cree 9.5-Watt (60W) Warm White (2700K) LED Light Bulb I'd recommend that one 100x more than this one.

Great Bulbs
I bought two of these bulbs to use in outdoor porch fixtures with a timer. I had been using 40-watt appliance bulbs, but they kept burning out every couple of months. These LED bulbs produce a bright, warm light, and have none of the problems associated with compact fluorescent bulbs. So far they have been burning for 8-12 hours every night since last October (nine months).

Perfect
Great color, dims, instant brightness... all exactly what I was looking for. I ordered 9, and they all work great.
