I use this for my work jacket. I work mostly outside in a very raining area. I only have to spray my jacket once every 3-4 months and I was my jacket every week. The water wicks away. I would recommend using the product outside or in the garage. It has a strong overpowering smell when being applied.

After purchasing a large deck umbrella, we quickly discovered that it was not fully waterproof. We first purchased the Sun & Water Shield variety, but still found it to be lacking. This one - the Outdoor Water Shield - was much more effective and provided noticeable and persistent water resistance for our umbrella. One recommendation I would make is to purchase double what you think you will need because a significant portion of the spray is lost to air and wind when applying it.

i have a 20 year old tent, that i recently used this on before going camping where i knew it was going to rain. this kept the rain out and left my dry inside my tent.The tent even felt like it retained heat better after this too.I initially purchased this spray to use on christmas blow ups that were leaking somewhere. I heard this would fix it. does not work for that application. but it works for the application it was made for!

Not sure if anyone has this issue but the can I purchased and used smells like roach spray! I’ve used other Scotch and 3m products but never has it smelled like this.
