LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star Dual Inverter Split AC (Copper, 2019 Mode, lKS-Q18HNZD , White)

As on delivery and post delivery installation - Before ordering this product from Amazon, I checked customer reviews. Most of them were average or below average, especially for LG after sales service and coordination between LG and Amazon. But keeping trust on LG brand reputation and Amazon's services, I made decision to go fo this.And thanks to LG and Amazon to keep my trust stronger @Hyderabad, Telangana on 1st March 2020.Giving review about product within 2 days will not good enough, so will update it after sometime.Wonderful experience - Regarding services by Amazon and LG for this product I'll give full on full. I got delivery on scheduled date and time with really careful hands. I was afraid about installation due to bad reviews, but I have trust on Amazon since around 4 years. After delivery they register my request to LG on my request same day, LG appointed local service provider within 2 hours and then immediately I got call from LG service provider to schedule visit. I request them to install on next day as it was Sunday, they fixed and reached on time.Wow LG - not only product is beautiful but LG deserves full points for their amazing service. The technician with an assistant done everything required with enough care and in last checked it's functionality and then given demo on company's fixed charges.As on 26 May 2020 (After around 2 month of installation in Peak Heat Days)I guess my decision to choose LG was correct. It's Himalayan cooling makes room super-cool within 30 minutes. In normal cooling mode when outside temperature is around 42 in Hyderabad 20-22 degree temp. of AC is much effective. I read too many bad comments about it's noise and performance but by god grace I'm not feeling any of them. It's superb Product. My recommendation with 5 starts again... if you are ready to spend 40-45 k for AC for a medium sized room, you should go for it without any doubt.

Overall the product is good, Awesome energy efficency (Electricity bill not more than 1.5k in the past 6months, Using AC 7hrs (night) daily) , Indoor noise is low even fan speed in high. Outdoor noise is little bit high, but not too much.The installation team charged 1k only for fixing the unit. (All drilling and core hole works are done by my side, the installation team just place the indoor & outdoor units to the rack and connect the pipes)

Ordered on 5th June, Amazon delivered it on 7th June. Got a call from LG on the very same day and engineers installed it on the next day i.e 8th June.Paid Rs. 3,800 for installation which included 2.5m copper pipe, drain pipe, outdoor unit stand and installation fee. I wouldn't say installation was very very neat but they did a good job.Build: It's a good looking AC, decent build and aesthetics.Cooling: No issues so far. Yesterday on 10th June I felt like it wasn't cooling enough but it was. My room was so cold even at 27 degree that I had to take out blanket.Efficiency: Tested it yesterday, ran for 12 hours at 25 degrees, checked my meter and it had consumed 11 units, which sounds good enough considering temperature outside is 46-48 degrees.Noise: Indoor unit is not noisy unless you use Himalayan Cooling which runs fans at full speed for 30 minutes thats a bit noisy but bearable. Let me tell you that outside unit is noisy. My neighbor has a Voltas AC and his outdoor unit is much silent than mine.At Rs. 41,999 it sounds like an expensive deal when Carrier and Voltas are offering 1.5ton 5 star at Rs. 38,999 and Rs. 39,999. But then they don't have that "LG" branding, something we can rely on.I think I have made a right choice by buying this AC.

The outdoor unit is just behind our bed and still it's not disturbing at all.**The cooling is good.**The Himalaya mode provides a faster way to cool.**LG service was quick and neat. They installed the next day of delivery and the work was fast and clean. Professional work.Cost. Super affordable for 1.5 Ton.**Dual Inverter AC takes less energy. Even after the AC out electricity bill did not shoot up.**Has De humidification Mode for Monsoons.**The sleep and timer options are very useful.**Indicates low Refrigerant.**10 Year warranty on the compressor.**It can also show the room temperature on the remote.Cons:**The Remote does not back lighting. This is so basic thing to be included for the AC IMO. **They have provided the back light for the temp reading on the AC instead... Great move.**The swing is only up and down. No 4- way swing.**The remote is big and old fashioned.**The vertical swing setting is a bit odd. **Have to press 6 times to make it auto swing.Conclusion:I would surely recommend the LG Split AC.
