The installation was a breeze. Instructions could’ve been better but plenty of video installs are available on the web for those on the fence about your ability to do this. The paint and finish was exactly what I’d hoped for. Perfect match! In my case, I didn’t have to drill new holes on the trunk lid because I installed the previous spoiler on my car. The holes lined up perfectly with the new one. Do yourself a favor a buy a small roll of two sided 3M adhesive and a few zip ties to secure the wire for the brake light beforehand. There isn’t enough tape for full coverage. Take your time. Measure and align several times before drilling the holes if you have to. You’ll know when you have it right. When finished, pat yourself on the back. You got this! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made (in USA), great paint, but installation instructions could be better *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 24, 2015* The spoiler was shipped very fast in a long tall box. The spoiler is extremely lightweight and will cause no problems with the existing springs of the trunk. The color match was perfect and the slight "orange peel" wave is similar to the car paint, very very slight, maybe less than the car itself. The instructions were on a single sheet of paper in very small print, but it is quite obvious how to install. The cardboard template strips would not stick to the bottom of the spoiler so I had to use some blue painters tape. It could be because the garage was about 32 degrees since it was 5 degrees outside. The spoiler fit is really perfect to the trunk, I really was amazed how well it fit considering the low price. My spoiler shipped with 5 large self taping screes and 5 foam self sticky washers. The problem is you need to drill a 6th hole for the light wire. I made my own 6th cardboard template. I drilled the holes and then used a stepped drill bid to achieve the desired size. The stepper bit makes a good clean hole. I then sprayed some primer onto a piece of cardboard and used a q-tip to protect the holes from rust. I then stuck the foam washers onto the trunk where the screws holes were and used some silicon sealant around the brake light hole. 4 of the 6 holes were clear but 2 were blocked by the frame of the trunk. I used a larger drill bit and stepped bit to provide access through the frame. The screws are very difficult to turn. The screws are self tapping and tapered so you think you have them tight, but the spoiler was no where near tight. I used a small socket on a screw driver bit to tighten the screws as required. Unfortunately, the foam never compressed enough to give a super tight contact with the trunk. There is still a slight wiggle to the spoiler. If I were doing it over again, I would suggest NOT using the foam washers and just using silicon or some other sealant that is easier to compress. Maybe the cold temperatures affected this, but I was putting pretty good torque on the screws. Be careful NOT to over tighten as the spoiler is just plastic and you will strip the holes. If I can figure out how to post some pictures, I will. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and the results look like factory. Now I want to take out the third brake light from the back window...it looks redundant. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Job well done !
