TOP CLASS product's from this company! We have used 'THE WOOLROOM ' on a few ocassions, and never been let down! YES, they may appear a tad expensive, after all, you only get what you pay for, but would you not prefer to be paying for something which is natural, as opposed to man-made polyester etc. I cannot bear the weight of a cheap as chips duvet on my legs as I have a serious, and worsening spinal column injury which affects my nerves ........ the answer was this company. I also find a 13.5tog quilt far too warm. The Woolroom have them starting from 4.5tog, which I use all year round, it's amazing the difference wool makes to the warmth and the weight. Best of all, they are a British company. As for their pillows, I feel a wee bit let down in these they are low and soft, but you can buy a bag of spare wool, which I did when purchased my pillows along with my new magical duvet, they do warn you of this issue, therefore at the time of purchase, I bought 2 bags of spare wool to rectify this issue if necessary. Knowing the financial position we find ourselves in at present, they could at least provide a bag of extra wool free, but they don't! If I remember correctly, the extra wool is only about £12. Some of you may be thinking that being wool, these are smelly, but not in the slightest! The wool has been so well washed, that the life has been washed out of it. Best of all, it's hypoallergenic, if you feel that your pillows are getting a bit whiffy with sweat when you are sleeping, you can take the wool out of your pillows, I'd recommend putting the wool in a net laundry bag and hang it up to dry maybe ruffling it up in the bag to ensure that it dries evenly. No matter what it is you need try the WOOLROOM first, you'll be amazed at the comfort of their products, which I should mention all come in storage bags except the spare wool which disappointed me a little. I'll call them though and ascertain if I can buy a couple of pillow sized bags to keep my spare wool in! Finally all I will say is 'The Woolroom' all the way, and as we hopefully come out of this pandemic, they will continue to flourish and the Company become a British success story!!

King size - medium 7-10 tog- non washable purchased. Duvet arrives in its own calico bag which is nice to store it in. I can honestly say I couldn’t detect any smell with the duvet. It’s thinner & not lumpy like a down duvet. Very easy to put inside the duvet cover as it has substance about it and stays square and flat, so it looks neat. It lies across the body, nice and light and airy with a comforting weight, & doesn’t smother and suffocate you like a down duvet does- especially if you’re a hot sleeper. The temperature control is just astounding- I haven’t woken up once damp or sweating as I did with both a 4 tog and 10 tog down duvet. My husband, who sleeps normally, likes it but agrees about the ‘drape’ (he’d sleep like a mummy if he could). Altogether it’s a lovely product at a great price that I have been recommending to friends. I now look forward to bed every night!

I sleep hot, but get cold feet due to Reynauds. Ordered this around the new year, just as extreme cold was forecast. I took a gamble and ordered the Light. Happy to say I've not been cold. In fact I had to stop sleeping in socks, and change my 'pyjama' top to a cotton one, which is cooler. My room is about 19.5 before bed, and has dropped to around 17, as it's been minus 8 outside, the last two nights. It will be interesting to see how long I can use it for in milder weather. I have a cotton-filled tog 3 that was ok down to about 18° wearing the socks and synthetic baselayer top I had to ditch with this. Hopefully they'll transition nicely. This one, by the way, is like the cotton one, in that it's thin, dense/firm, and heavy. I really like that. I did try a tog 4.5 synthetic, but I got too hot, and wasn't a fan of all that fluffiness. I was very surprised that I could sleep without socks in the depths of winter. I've done it before using an extra duvet over my legs, but that's a faff, and my top half was too cold, and too hot if I pulled the othe duvet up.

We were looking at Which? reviews, and wool, which we had never considered before, was recommended. We have been using these since before Christmas during some milder winter weather and also some freezing temperatures. As advised, they seem to adapt and keep the ideal warmth throughout. They seem thinner and slightly stiffer than feather or fibre duvets, but they mould lightly round your body and do a superb job. It is claimed that wool is anti-allergenic against dust mites. Its a natural and under-utilised product. There is an initial very slight lanolin aroma, comforting rather than troublesome. I am also recommending the wool-filled pillows. I won't be using any other filling in future.

We have been sleeping much better with this duvet, normally my partner or I would wake multiple times during the night. We've moved from a 4.5 tog hollow fibre and found we were getting cold. This duvet keeps you cool and warm when needed. The only couple of negatives I have is that the duvet does smell a bit like a farmyard, but airing it outside will help or worse case, getting it dry cleaned. I've only tried 1 of my double double covers so far, and the duvet does seem a little large for it. UPDATE: Weeks later, and it still smells like a farmyard! So I resorted to washing it on a cold wash with wool shampoo. Dried it thoroughly on the line. Then dry cleaned it in my tumble dryer with a dry cleaning sheet. RESULT: it still stinks! So I dowsed it in perfume, and now it smells ok-ish. I have come to the conclusion that I'm just really sensitive to the smell, my partner couldn't even smell it when we first took it out of the bag and out it on the bed!! I would probably not buy another wool duvet, this has put me off. It's a shame as I love that it's natural, and it is very well made.

Me ha encantado en general. De primeras el envío ha sido rapidísimo, ya el producto cuando lo he abierto me he llevado una grata sorpresa, muy bien embalado dentro de una funda de lino y con un aire muy cuidado. Lo primero que he hecho ha sido olerlo por las diversas reseñas que comentaban de esta peculiaridad y si, tiene un olor ovejil, no es para tanto y se soluciona sacándolo de la funda y aireándolo. No me parece una desventaja entendiendo que estas fibras naturales a veces tienen olor (natural claramente), y por lo demás un exterior característico de algodón blanco con cuerpo para mantener un poco la forma del edredón y muy buenos acabados de costuras. Calidad por el precio muy aconsejable 10/10. Cuando lo pruebe actualizo la reseña.
