Lava Sea Salt

I was intrigued by the black colour and wanted to give this a try. I’m so glad I did as it is delicious and can enhance any dish, I paired it with a venison burger, pickle, cranberry sauce and made a homemade burger bun, which I sprinkled the salt on top of the bun. It is something of a treat as it was a little expensive but so worth investing in.

Awesome salt ! I asked my partner to bring some back from Iceland on her recent visit and I’m glad I did, it has a signature of its own which you find with salts around the world and leaves you with black finger tips if you pinch and crush it over your food. It is a strong salt and dry but not as salty as fleur de sal which like Celtic sea salt is very salty and wet and this Icelandic salt is certainly a show stopper when sprinkled on light coloured foods like mash or chicken breast. Great value for money and I’m sure it has its health benefits but I bought it for its taste. Will be buying more soon

I had this product previously and loved it. Gives fish a wonderful flavour. Very expensive but great for occasions.

Very tasty but a special usage salt as expensive

Bought to replace the same brand my son brought for me from a visit to Iceland. Not cheap but worth it. I use a little in warm water to cleanse and heal minor domestic accidents. Also a better salt for gargling, mouth ulcers etc than refined kitchen salt

Delightful black salt. Definitely rings back memories of my visit to Iceland.
