They move easily and I don't think would absorb and save a child landing on them. The rubber round stepping stones I bought have more spring to them but I am not sure if they also come in squares. They also do not move but have a spring when walking over them **Q: What size pleases** A: Size: W:30cm x L:30cm, H:2.5cm per stepping Stone **Q: Are these non-slip please?** A: They are not very non-slip when it is icy/muddy and I don't think they are very non-slip rubber, but I haven't had a tumble yet.... **Q: do they need to be removed to cut grass** A: I would recommend lifting the edging up when cutting, even though they are made of hard rubber I can't be a 100% if a trimmer will cause any wear and tear. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They do what we wanted *by H***D on 24 May 2024* Used to provide stepping stones to our garden shed - 6 months on and they are soundly lodged in the ground, the lawnmower has been over them a few times and they have taken no damage.They aren't cheap but hopefully as a one off investment worthwhile, easy to use, robust without being cumbersome, aesthetically fine and most importantly not slippy in the wet.The heavier you are, the sooner that they will properly bed in, but I would imagine that it won't take very long even for someone of half my weight to have walked them into a secure placement - it really is as simple as lying the lightweight tiles on top of your grass and then walking on them as intended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stepping stones not solid needs care with installation. *by C***H on 11 August 2024* I like the look and the quality of this product once installed. I would imagine they would be easy to install over short grass ie a recently cut lawn. If laying directly on soil I would advise preparing the soil very finely, then lightly water the soil and press into position. I tried other ways on the soil but this had the best effect. A bit more work than expected but delighted with the final finish. They appear to be hard wearing, no marks when walking on them in dirty shoes.
