The case is very sturdy and stiff. I like that the tablet cuts on and to sleep when the flap/cover is opened and closed. The fit is very tight/snug once you snap the tablet inside. The side buttons to the tablet are easily accessible. I haven't been able to get it to bend well as a stand, but that's only because it's new and still very stiff. The top surface of the tablet is smooth like a faux leather and the bottom is a harder plastic. I like it and think it will last a couple of years or more, but I use my tablet daily so the amount of time it lasts will definitely depend on individual use. I'd recommend this to someone else. ### ⭐⭐ Cricket on my chest *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 15, 2021* I was lying in bed reading my Samsung 8" tablet, when suddenly a cricket landed on my chest. I was so grossed out. But wait... It just ended up being a corner that broke and popped off and landed on me. Then I noticed a few more pieces had broken off already. It hasn't even been 6 months, and already corners are breaking off. On left corner is still barely able to hold the tablet in. When that goes, the tablet will just fall out on it's own. Sometimes, the lid does not close right and keeps the tablet screen on, wasting battery. Every week it survives, is a victory. But I do not buy products hoping they survive long enough. It should give me confidence in money well spent. The edge of the case scraped the bezel of my tablet when applied, but it's really not the case's fault. It's mine, frankly, for buying a $200 tablet & fitting it with a $12 case.
