A great item. I think it would preserve the screen perfectly.

Bought it after I had to replace my fit bit after screen got damaged, fits on grate and still use with touch screen.

The protective cover works well to ensure my Fitbit stays protected. Only problem is when the Fitbit is wet from swimming or such, the touchscreen becomes difficult to use as water gets trapped between the protective cover and the actual device.
