You can put a really bright bulb in these and the paper diffuses it beautifully. It's like a giant bubble floating in the room. Very elegant. Everyone compliments us on it and it couldn't be more simple. Just be careful when assembling, hanging and changing the light bulb, the paper is fragile and prone to puncture and becomes more brittle over time. Take good care of it, though, and this lamp could last years. Note: The socket and cord is purchased separately and most every hardware store has them for a few bucks. Review: Pretty colour!
