I have a “thing” for picture frames that are black and minimalist because it works best for my esthetic. Even more so for my “gallery wall” because I don’t want the frames to detract from the art and I want the frames to “coordinate” because my brain doesn’t understand how to pull off the boho/thrift look without overthinking it to death.I have a LOT of art and have become picky with frames after figuring out what works best for me... and this one checks off all the boxes! ✅ black matte ✅ wood/wood composite (ie: NOT plastic) ✅ no ornate details ✅ glass front ✅ not super thin or super thick of a frame width ✅ no extra assembly with hanging hooks. Some might also think the matte being included is also a huge bonus, too, but I tend to not use them often.Not to mention, since it’s a glass front, it came to me with really well protective packaging that ensured it didn’t come to me broken! Yay!!I’m very satisfied with this purchase! I’d highly recommend this product!

This frame looked pretty good overall, but the surface looked to me like some kind of pressed composite material, and the painted surface showed that texture (like maybe one or two more coats of lacquer paint or whatever would have looked better and given it that super smooth look I wish it had). I am very picky though, so there's that!

Very cute frame and decent quality for the price but mine came with a chip in the frame. I covered with marker since I didn’t want to return but I’m a little disappointed hence loosing one star.Update: the company immediately reached out to me and sent me another frame and let me keep the first one I received as well.

Honestly these frames are really really nice, only the TWO that didn’t come damaged... I think they discontinued the light wood ones right after I bought them. Shame about the frames, but the glass is horrible! Two frames came with damaged glass, two with good glass. What a shame. If it wasn’t for how nice the light wood looks this would be a waste of money. And since I see they don’t offer the light wood anymore ... this is honestly a waste of money. Buy from somewhere else!!!

Thought that the frame would be more of a celery green like in the photo but turned out to be more of an olive green. Since I was using it for a small painting the olive wouldn't do so I tried to re-paint it in a celery color, wouldn't stick properly. Had to thrown frame out. BUT, in defense of the product, the frame was sturdy and well made and a good deal for the $. I'd buy it again, but not in the green.

I ordered two sets of four. One set was great, no complaints. The second set of frames was not as great: one frame had a bunch of nicks around the edges, and another frame's glass was totally broken--you can see the attached pictures. I'm pleased with the ones in the first set that weren't nicked or broken, but the other set was a letdown, and since only one frame was actually broken, it seemed like a waste of time and money to return it back to Amazon.

I was surprised at the high quality of this frame, given it's price. It came well packaged, and the picture inside the frame was pretty cute. Looked like a water color of a Paris scene. Almost wanted to keep it in there but eventually substituted the art print I had received for Christmas. I got the green one, and it's a very nice shade. Not bright and garish, a kind of subdued peaceful green.

I was very pleased with this frame. I bought it to frame a diamond art picture that I had done. It worked really well for that purpose. It also came with two different sized "photo" borders, which I used in the back to help tighten the picture in the frame. It came well packaged and nothing was broken. The price was reasonable for the quality of the frame. I would definitely purchase this again. I think it also came in some different colors.
