I’m using it for a chest freezer I found at the curbIt seems the freezer was dumped because it wasn’t freezing constantly, freezer would stop working when it got hot. Your 3 in 1 devise is working like a charm. Installation was easy for my first time. I have the freezer working for about a month and I haven’t had any issues.

Fixed my problem for next to nothing
This fixed my refrigerator problem a year and a half ago for $15. This was no doubt far cheaper than a professional service call!

Works well
This does work for getting the compressor going. Not sure why, but this will go out again in about a year. This is my 4th time buying these. I think if you start messing with the breakers in the house for something on the same circuit, it can cause these to fail. I'm going to try unplugging from the wall if I ever need to fix anything else in the house. I was changing a light switch in the bathroom and this hard start went bad the same day.

Maytag life extended!
The media could not be loaded. Pretty straight forward installation. Watched the video and followed along. Saved my fridge! And it’s a 2004 Maytag.

Easy with Good Instructions
With the easy price and good instructions, I saved a $600 frig. I think that was a good deal.

Flimsy build
A very flimsy build. The cap is loose on the capacitor, when installing, I was afraid of the assembly falling apart in my hands. Would not recommend.

Do your research
This is the second one I’ve purchased. The first one lasted about 8 months before it failed and I had to replace it after my entire freezer section of food was wasted. Maybe it’s because this refrigerator is exposed to a varying climate in my garage and not inside my house, I’m not sure how that affects the life. It definitely worked immediately but I had to replace it in less than a year.
