I was getting real bad performance at the top of the rpm range at ...
The calibration is off on this. I was getting real bad performance at the top of the rpm range at wot. I had clipped off the resistor and that helped a little but there is no substitute for the oem genuine part. This did at least diagnose my bad oem maf.

Works, fits, cheap!
5 stars.... so far. It was an exact fit for my 2005 Golf GTI 1.8T. Replacement took 3 minutes and only required a screwdriver. It has solved throttle shuttering and starting issues that are associated with a failed MAF sensor
