I know should of done that first but I'm glade I didn't I may not have got it. I saw a lot of people stating how bad the chemical smell was. I know my sinuses are not the best but I really didn't smell anything till I placed it right by my nose. I do also live in a rural area Western PA and a bad smell around here is cow manure. So the bar is set pretty low here. I travel a lot for work so I keep my computer bag packed and near me when at home and I still can smell it. It's just as pretty as in the pictures. I was worried about the size because I have a 17.3 inch dell, but it fits in the case well and I have room for all my cords my schedule book, Fire tablet, and other things one may need on the job.
